there are so many good twists in the DLC, I just beat it an hour ago. I am absolutely loving the story driven content, this is the fallout game I wanted. its a good balance of new resources and new stories. Vault 118 is probably one of the best vault experiments to date!

I think the idea is that you inherited the memories of someone who was cryogenically frozen, rather than actually being that person. And like many synths you’re left with the impression that you really are that person instead of an artificial reproduction of them.

You could have gotten replaced *after* cryo. Or during, I guess.
