Its interesting because I don’t get this in the US or any other airport but Munich. But there I get it at the final security checkpoint EVERY SINGLE TIME. I asked them about it and they said if you’ve been flagged in the system then you will always be flagged.

Been there, with my roommate who grew up without snow. She freaked, I laughed. Take your foot off the pedals is almost always my 1st course of action. I hated almost everything about growing up in Northern MN but the skills I got from driving in the snow are priceless.

Learning to parallel park in a car without power steering definitely gave me exceptional skills.

Can you drop a link for where you are trading in bookes etc? When I look for trade in I’m just finding e-trade ins.

It was probably because they’ve been working 12+ hour days dealing with people who all think they are going to get a last minute deal and they wanted to go home.

THIS THIS THIS. Add distracted driving to the top of the list and it is perfect.

Local honey doesn’t do anything for allergies.

I think you are the only one who actually read the article.

No one asked for ransom though. Its so annoying since its a super old iPad so clearly no one has stolen it. The recovery email looks to be my BFs email but nothing ever goes to it when I send it from the iPad.

Its fun, my BF has an ipad that worked fine. At some point it upgraded its software (I think?) and somehow the activation lock turned on. We have looked in his iCloud account, its not listed there, I have had the ipad send the recovery info to his email, it never arrives. Apple is zero help. This iPad is old and he

Depends on what you consider wealthy. I am just wrapping up an epic Europe / Middle East trip. I’ve done all sorts of things I would never have been able to do had I had children, that is wealth to me. Stuck at home with children for the best years of my life? Eh, no thanks.

Funny since my student loans started out as much as a mortgage in parts of the US would be.

Id love to find one my 6'4" boyfriend fits in the passenger seat. He isn't too fond of riding shotgun in my NB. Which is too bad since then I have to drive his car, and it's an automatic. 👎

Me too.

Talk Mandarin to her. My BF rarely initiates speaking in his home language to me but when I speak it to him he is more than happy to let me know my errors or look surprised when I say something he had no idea I knew. Its also good practice!

Check with your local library, they usually have some language learning programs you can use for free. Mine had Pimsleur, which will teach you exactly what you want to know. Where is the restaurant? How much is it? Etc.

From my own experience, anything that makes you spend MORE time learning a language is good. I don’t think 10 mins a day is super helpful, it takes awhile for me to get into it. 10 minutes would just be maintenance level. When they had clubs it did motivate me to do more lessons to see other people learning my

LOL, LA allowing any low income housing. That’s hilarious. They’ll be converted into luxury rentals no doubt.

This works if you are already thinking of staying in your layover city (I flew LAX-JFK, stayed in NYC for 3 days then flew JFK—Europe).

It seemed arbitrary honestly. I just left it in my bag and hoped for the best, played stupid and was really nice to the TSA agent. It worked out but I fully didn’t expect it to.
