Yeah, that parking was the best at the SM one then they tore it down and now its annoying underground. Lucky for me I ride a scooter, so parking is never an issue (unless I go to DTLA!)

I literally have 6 within about 10 mins or less from me in Hollywood.
Took my car to a local spot, they’d done some service before. Went home after the oil change and went to get gas a day or so later. Check the oil, its at the very bottom of the dipstick and BLACK. Bring it back, tell them they didn’t change it. The guy has the balls to tell me “Your car has high mileage that’s why it…
I have a scooter and a Miata. I drive the scooter in LA for 99% of my needs, keep the Miata for driving my dog/rain/long distances/fun. It is the only way.
I don’t even see directions for 8? On my Moto X4 I can go to settings —>storage—internal shared storage—apps-then you have to go through EVERY app individually and clear cache apparently.
Really great show on WHY stuff like this happen(s/ed) in American cars.
Me too with my private loans. Putting money into a savings account to eventually pay off my fed student loans, rather than trust them to apply it correctly. This way I have it in case I need it, can see the actual total and can also write them a check and be done with them when I have it saved.
I’m not in that field. It is not that way in every other profession, fyi.
I don’t see it as that at all. If I saw RECENT college grad, I would think “eh, not me. I graduated in 2006" if I saw “college grad” I’d think “yeah, I can apply for that since I am a college grad”. Not the same, recent implies that you are most likely in your (early) 20s.
College Grad is not the same as RECENT college grad.
Conde Nast is notorious for not paying people.
California has it. The whole fallacy is that we can somehow recycle our way out of over consumption and over production.
I never even activated my debit card. I pay for things with credit cards AND I have that money. Pay them off at the end of every month in full. Its not really that hard.
You could just use a credit card. I do it and let Amex or Visa figure it out if someone steals my card.
Thanks, its been a bit of a recovery but it was ultimately worth it. Surgery was really the best thing to happen to me, it completely fixed my back pain. I get stiffness and aches but NOTHING like it used to be. I really had pretty awful pain fairly frequently and only really got rid of it for awhile from deadlifting!
Wow, those deductibles. I wish. Mine is around $7000 I think.
I also “ignored” mine at the start as well. Since I started having back pain really when I was 21 until I was 38 when I finally had insurance. Went to a chiropractor when the 1st one herniated and he never mentioned that could be the cause of the intense pain, the back pain or the numbness in my leg/toes. I had pain…
Been there too. Ended up with surgery in 2017 for TWO herniated discs which occurred 6 years apart. Even with the 2nd one being maybe the most pain I’ve felt in life, I didn’t believe that it was serious. It resulted in nerve damage to my foot and lower leg. I am back working out and actually feel better than I have…
Yup! Language learning software (rosetta stone, mango), access to online language learning (pimsleur). I’ve used all of the above free from various libraries. Lynda.com is free with my LAPL account as well. Check your local libraries website!
I’ll definitely keep looking. Probably will never find Greek but I can hope!
