People really underestimate how fantastic a scooter is for getting around in the city. The ability to carry a full bag of groceries etc on my bike makes it the best transportation for 99% of all my trips.

True, I just think of LA especially because you can practically count the days you can’t ride on one hand. Never rains, isn’t often too hot or too cold. It amazes me there are so few people on bikes here.
Yes! I live in LA and tell people if they start riding it will literally change their life.
That part of sparring has always skeeved me out. Not interested in clinching with a dude who is sweating all over me, no thanks.
Pretty sure I ended up with a horribly herniated disc due to chirpractic manipulation. I had been seeing him since the first disc herniated, which he never mentioned. The joys of being uninsured.
Well it actually is. Problem is no one seems to know what either of them actually are and conflate state control of the economy to both. Of which neither are.
The communism they are conflating socialism with isn’t that either though. Neither socialism nor communism = the state being in control of the means of production. Everything most people think is either of those is completely wrong.
Funny, I find my Facebook to be way more ridiculous than Twitter.
That is my argument for the people in the US who want to keep their insurance or don’t want government insurance. I’m SURE you’ll be able to pay for private insurance. Sigh.
Are your health records all centralized? They never mention that with certain insurance in the US NO ONE is talking to each other. You see your primary, they refer you to someone else - that person has no knowledge of any of your primary Dr info. Then the info from 2nd Dr doesn’t transfer back to the primary…
They are 100% and they can’t tell you, no one can! That’s the best part. In CA when I had my old insurance it was also the insurance, then the employee health group they also work with that both were billed and BOTH could deny or approve. However, the employee health group was not the same as the insurance and I…
Often you can’t TELL what you will be charged for anyway. My insurance covers the visit with co-pay which I pay when I get there. If while I’m there the Dr. asks for other tests or sends me to see someone else, not covered and I get billed. Somehow I am supposed to anticipate that, do research on the necessity and…
I just got one of those for going to PT due to foot drop from a herniated disc I had surgery for last year when I had different insurance. How can they exclude you for treatment?
When I got my first card, I had applied for a few and was rejected for all. I think I went to open a new bank account and asked the bank how I could get a credit card when I had no credit. I got one from them. It had a $300 limit and probably a ridiculous interest rate but it worked!
That is actually why I use hangouts with my BF and regular sms with everyone else. He was skeptical when we met as to why I had 2 phone numbers. Its so much easier to text and use a real keyboard when I’m at work.
Oooh, this is clever! Going to try his method on my 3rd language!
Do some searching online, there are loads of online communities and also places where you can chat with people in your target language (gaelic). You might be surprised how much you remember!
Ha, I think you just DGAF if you sound stupid and you are more willing to speak it, which is REALLY the key to language learning, actually speaking it.
I would love to find this too. Learning Greek and its not an option.
You’ve got some great records. I had SURGERY last summer and my new Dr can’t seem to get any of the records into my file. I switched insurance and Drs and started with a blank slate it seems. I had to bring in the physical paperwork to each new appointment and each new Dr and therapist.
