I’m really lucky. I have a great boss who is gone 90% of the time and I work alone. The only thing that would make it better is more money but almost everyone can say that.

“... more couples would do it if it weren’t such a challenge.”
This was exactly what I came here to ask. I’d be happy to sell mine off. Ebay?
I think not being at the mercy of traffic and other drivers is well worth it personally. Whenever I get in my car I am instantly annoyed since I’m so used to so much more freedom on 2 wheels. I just don’t get when people say “Well X is unsafe while riding a motorcycle”...riding a bike in and of itself is dangerous.,…
True, but those are the risks you take I guess. I can generally tell if someone is paying no attention and if you are splitting lanes in traffic there isn’t usually a place for someone to dart into you as you are between cars.
Because if you are riding in LA with all sorts of traffic you can effectively have your own traffic free lane? Why ride 2-wheels in the city and NOT lane split? I could sit in my car and do that.
It’s oftentimes easier to ride there with more room than to try to split lanes with moving cars on either side of you varying distances away from each other. I know exactly where he is talking about and despite his accident, I will maintain where he was riding was safer than trying to split between the moving lanes.
Can’t understand people who don’t wear gloves, your instinct is to try to stop your fall with your HANDS always. Life is also quite hard when you can’t use them. I always wear gloves.
Riding a bike isn’t safe.
There are so many good places to go online for support after being with someone with a PD. Message boards are especially helpful, in my experience. You start to see they ALL play by the same handbook and it helps to break your fantasy about them when you realize it was all textbook behavior. I’m part of a group for…
Exactly, that and when abusers like this realize they’ve lost control of someone they can be violent, they can allege false claims of abuse to the police, they definitely can (and probably will) stalk you, harass you at work and home, harass your family and friends. It’s not as simple as leaving them which people…
Exactly, even I look back on my relationship and am like “What the FUCK was I thinking?” I can actually remember thinking that when I was IN it.
Yup, unless you’ve had the experience of being with someone with a personality disorder it is nearly impossible to understand why he would no just walk the fuck away.
Well if couple wanting to get married and being in “love” with someone you’ve known 2 months along with the other classic signs of an abuser she presented (or anyone else presents) that is how you know it is a BAD sign. If someone has a bunch of red flags, falls so in love with you, tells you how great you are vs…
Your girl is a narcissist bro. “C” is the main object of her abuse, which is why she goes back to him again and again. You are part of the cast of triangulation, used to torture “C” while she feeds off being able to manipulate all of you and feed the level zero of self esteem she has and the giant black hole inside of…
Sounds like every time I fly out of LAX. Never check luggage.
Flights get delayed due to weather in other places than where you depart from. When there is weather in one part of the country it affects all sorts of places that might not have anything to do with it.
No idea why people want to hurry and get on the plane. As long as my carry-on can be in the passenger compartment, I’m happy to be LAST on the plane. I don’t want to spend any more time in there than I have to.
He reminds me of either Steve Martin playing Ruprecht in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels or Ralphy from a Christmas Story...
I think he was cheap and TurboTaxed his taxes. Information like you just gave is why I pay an accountant.
