Taurian? It’s Turian! Come on...
1. I would love to see a gay chef serve Mike Pence BBQ over a stove of burning bibles. I wouldn’t even need a drink with dinner because his tears would quench any thirst I had.
2. That’s a pretty terrible analogy. I am no fan of organized religion, but burning an actual copy of someone’s sacred religious text =/= a…
If they were metal bibles, yeah. Don’t care if Mike Pence’s lillywhite ass is offended by anything, since he finds gay people offensive.
Check out MEUITM, aka. Mass Effect Upgraded/Improved Textures Mod.
They had the opportunity to print money and then they did this. Come on and just give us a proper console Pokemon game.
What a fucking colossal embarassment, Nintendo.
Pokken?
Really?
I was wondering the same thing. I get luring enemies together to see if they fight and stuff like that, but what was supposed to happen here? I guess there’s always the “to see if it can be done factor”, but I’d never spend this much time on something so tedious without the hope of some sort of interesting payoff.
Here’s the problem you’re missing: The artists often make these changes themselves, in order to better frame the work and prevent cultural differences from confusing the message of a work.
Don’t you dare insult my boi. Meet me at the back of Wendy’s.
From Spain here.
We call it “corte de mangas” (literally, “sleeves cut”) and yes, it has the “Go f*** yourself!” meaning, even if the gesture is kind of out of use these days.
That doesn’t say anything other than A) a company would be in their right to patch said gesture out of said regions b) don’t do those gestures in said regions and c) hurl yourself into traffic in any region
I’m no grammar police but when you start calling people dummies on the internet, you can’t just write a sloppy ass sentence like that, then lazily copy and paste the first sentence from a Wikipedia article. It’s a weird angle to take up arguing with him anyway, I know thumbs up is in his name so you were trying to do…
That would mean that if you just posed with a thumbs up sign, standing motionless, then it wouldn’t be offensive because you are not including the mentioned “thrust up as a typical hitchhiking gesture” motion.
Doesn’t censorship usually refer to some entity with authority forcing another entity to remove, edit, or destroy objectionable content? I mean, self censorship is a thing, but I’d say it’s more just making a minor change after being informed of the potential for offense.
Awesome, a bunch of gamers say it’s not offensive because it’s not offensive to us Muricans, which once again proves what a bunch of idiotic jagaloons we are.
This just proves that is the worst possible response.
I would like to take the time to remind you that Nintendo is not censorship in any way, shape or form. This is because Nintendo owns the game and can change whatever they like about it. Now, this doesn’t stop you from criticizing their actions when those changes are stupid but it isn’t censorship when they do it.
Wut. This is a pretty widely known gesture for “fuck you”. That’s like claiming people shouldn’t be offended if it were a character giving the finger to the screen.
He’s not holding a sign with his kids’ name on it or anything.
Nintendo was pretty clear this isn’t a console or handheld replacement; it’s some sort of 3rd console - a hybrid if you will. From what I gather, they still intend to have a new home console.
