The hype alone was enough to get most of my gaming friends to pick it up. Once you've got a big group of friends playing something, it's hard to go back to anything else. I call this the Google+ effect. Even though most people thought it was better than facebook, no one stayed. Why? Because by the time it was in full

I'm not positive but I would assume EA also would not have told the distributor to leave parts out.

You clearly have not seen half baked.

Because Bioware told the company making and distributing their games to leave out a bunch of registration codes? Or EA?

I have to reload...

If these queues keep up like they are, they can pretty much guarantee there will be a lot of cancellations in the next few months.

I tried that. I thought "Space Slug? Who would want to be on that stupid server?"

That's funny, I have actually gotten in a queue when I was busy with other things just so I could play later if I wanted. Last night I took a food break and had to go Jiggle my mouse every so often so I wouldn't get the boot and wait in line again.

Sounds less like a fantasy game and more like real life.

Doesn't each Legacy surname only get to be used once on each server? I didn't want to have Leeroy or Harrison and then get to the legacy part and have them not be available.

Reading the comments below I have decided to conclude that there are two types of gamers on Kotaku: Those who like to play with large groups of friends and those who do not.

I'm in Portland and my cellphone is made from organic grass and Nissan Leaf batteries. It doesn't function at all, but at least it's eco-friendly.

Because it saves me a ton of money on other games I would be buying if I wasn't playing an MMO.

In GTA, trying to get women in to bed is part of the game.

I've got a bunch of hours in and haven't had a single problem so far. With how bad it was during beta weekends I didn't expect it to be this good.

This, this, this, a thousand times this. No fireworks and explosions, nothing flashy, just real driving with the best physics of any rally game to date. Honest to God I have been playing that game constantly lately.

My N64 died on me a couple weeks ago :( It started resetting itself whenever it got bored of watching me play tetris.

I'd like a 2DS please. I want to play Ocarina of Time but I don't want to pay for 3D I will never turn on kthxbai

But when your patents are on things that are completely necessary for competition to exist, there is a problem.

Greed is what leads to lawsuits against all of your competitors over bullshit patents in an attempt to get your competitors punished for competing with you. Greed, in this instance, is anti competitive bullshit.
