I'm jelly. All of these commenters are talking about how their State should have an awesome statue and the best my state can do is this:

Oh no, people voluntarily used their own money for something fun. FUUUUUUUUUCK!

Agreed. Just look at Braid. One of the best games I have ever played.

Maybe it can be used to synthetically boost the volume of the bike's exhaust so much that people can actually SEE how obnoxiously loud their bikes are.

...

This just in: all companies everywhere are trying to make money.

I think the post office should take a 30% cut of all magazine subscription costs, and all amazon.com purchases. They should also make all companies that mail things agree that they will charge the same price to send their things via Fed Ex.

Itunes is a store that is downloaded for free on a Windows computer. Rhapsody is a store that is downloaded for free on an Apple device.

No. This isn't like someone wanting to sell things at Wal Mart for free. This is more like Wal Mart wanting to take a cut out of every puchase on amazon made from a computer that was originally purchased at Wal Mart.

I think I've got it pulling random pictures from deviantart.com, but for some reason, it's just loading the thumbnails, which look pretty crappy blown up to be a background. I tried the "dig deeper" option and it doesn't seem to help.

Trying to figure this out. I'd like to set a section of a website, say the photography section of deviantart.com to load a random image every few minutes. Not sure how to do that, though.

@RT100: Hokay dude.

@spamfold3r: Doesn't foursquare get suspicious when you check in at the Space Needle and LAX 3 hours apart as you fly over?

@brettwmorris: And the 7,000,000 calls that took place during flights are not an indicator that phones are safe?

@RT100: You really think that someone in a plane crash is going to take the time to say bye as opposed to trying to save themselves?

I used to do this in a very long spill way. In the summer it would be dried up on half and wet on the other. It would get a small layer of algae in the water and you could go from hundreds of feet up. You would get going super fast. Way faster than you could run, and at the bottom, you splashed in to a big pool of ice

@geolemon: Thanks, dude! This is exciting!
