@CommodoreRake: Absolutely. Why spend so much time teaching something that they will never use?! I think we should teach the basics and get them a good understanding of how numbers work early-on and then we can teach them much more complicated stuff at a much younger age, so that when they are our age, they are

@Kitsune-Hazard: I still use pen and paper, but only for my own purposes such as note taking and comparing documents that Adobe fails on.

@CommodoreRake: Suggesting that our education system should not evolve with technology is just plain silly. We should instead be teaching kids to work with the technology they have access to so that when they are professionals later in life, they will be able to do many things that we were never taught to do.

@Kitsune-Hazard: And then after college when they have a job, they are going to need to write a lot with a pen and paper?

These kids are never going to have to write without a computer and a spell-checker. I don't think this is a bad thing because now that time can be spent on something more relevant to our times. Teaching a kid to spell these days it like teaching a kid to fix a carbureted motor. Your time would be better spent teaching

@crosis101: They're emotions which, if given the choice to feel or not, you would pick not to feel. I'm not saying at all time, like the girl in the article, but at any given moment if someone said "do you want to feel happy right now?" you would likely say yes, and if someone said "do you want the shit scared out of

@sqlfanatic: You have to zoom in a ways to get the 3D stuff. I kept wondering why Portland wasn't 3D until I zoomed in and buildings started sprouting.

Meebo had a way of killing my battery in about 1/3 the normal time when it was running on my phone. My partial wake usage was constantly over 90% for Meebo.

@red_alert360: Do you ever see a picture of him and think "I don't remember being there....?"

@mtngoat: There's a run on my local mountain that goes from a resort way up the mountain through a couple miles of back-country and ends at the bottom of a resort way down the mountain. We pick up hitch-hikers almost every time we go up the the higher place because they can ride all day just doing that run a couple of

@streetfish: I refuse to believe they are phasing out a phone that's 8-months old and still one of the best phones that you can buy.

Number 31: "We do. $12 from"

@Trickyhop: The camera with Sense is the only thing I miss about having Sense. I use Camera 360 now and I like it a lot, but it just isn't as easy for random party pictures or whatever as the Sense camera was.

@ant1pathy: You wouldn't believe how fast my rooted Droid Incredible is running Cyanogenmod. It would make your iPhone 4 blush.

@gthing: If it's anything like Android, it's just a layer on google maps that you can turn on and off. Does iOS have layers yet?

What the fuck are meters?!

Logging in to my gmail account on a friends computer and having all of my bookmarks, programs, media, etc automatically show up for me? Sounds awesome. Now I just need to tackle that whole 1TB of media all stored on a drobo at home problem...

@emy1: The 2012 Mustang GT can do 1.0G in the skidpad...
