I tried to like the series. I think a lot of the critical overpraise it received was from people trying to like the series. Now that it’s been awhile I’m hoping everyone can take a deep breath and admit it was horrifyingly bad.

It was soooooooooo boring!

I mean, there was so little actual story in Sharp Objects that they had to pad it out with hours of Camille driving, Camille drinking, and a needless subplot involving a worried-looking newspaper editor and his even more worried-looking wife. There’s no way to squeeze another miniseries out of this material.

Fucking don’t. Have some self-control. Fucking greedy artists.

Are you crazy or just easily entertained?

It’s not especially Buddhist, she’s an idiot.

Aw, I’d almost forgotten what her birth face was like.

Lol

Lindsay, sneezing:

And also, people talking about “spreading their wings” is pretty common. It doesn’t immediately register to me as Buddhist. It’s just one of those things people say, Lindsay.

I know, right?  I can’t be the only person who remembers the infamous coke pants...

Its certainly hollywood new agey buddhist.

To my knowledge I have only known a couple of Buddhists, but I have heard the “spread your wings and fly” thing all of my life. Yeah, her financial situation seems sketchy as hell.

Lindsay did not listen to anything that girl said. She made up her own story for her in her head and just went with it. People not listening when I’m being clear is a huge pet peeve of mine. That conversation was so uncomfortable to watch. Does Lindsay ever interact with real people because that is not how human conve

“I was scrutinized a lot of my life because so many people took photos of me sneezing (snorting coke), looked like I was crying (snorting coke).”

Per British law, what matters most here is not whether the information turns out to be true, but whether it was legally obtained - and whether that can be proven in court. Take-Two could have asserted that the confidential information was stolen, hacked, or otherwise illegally obtained, which would have made the

Wow, British law is fucked up. A news outlet is complicit in the stealing of information just because they published it months later after they confirmed it was real? Give me a break. Get a First Amendment, losers.

I have zero idea what the show is even about based on this recap.
