who the fuck is giving Rafe Judkins all this work?
he’s writing The Division as well...

I almost miss the Orci/Kurtzman days....

So is that the same Rafe Judkins who wrote The Wheel of Time show? Shouldn’t surprise me this movie is also bad, then. He is not a good writer.

Maybe Sony can bring back Myth. The only bungie property I’ve desperately wanted a new game in for like 20 years.

It will be very difficult for them to do that with an IP Bungie hasn’t owned since before the original game came out.

That could make a white person feel bad or uncomfortable, so clearly that wouldn’t be allowed.

Hey, there might be kids here. Keep that kinda stuff to yourself, you degenerate.

Elon doesn’t have a personality.

Bring back Rogue Squadron. And make a sequel to Racer.

this is where Starlink could help I guess

Bullshit. Banning is misinformation on social media is paramount.

The difference is that for closed source you are depending on the company to find those issues before a hacker does.

In open source, you have a vast community of people that can scour the code and potentially find it.

If it had been closed source it may have lived for a long time hidden and exploited

Its both.. for decades there has been a massive lack in US support for higher education in computer science. We have opted instead to support lesser degrees in CIOS and IT support. Yes this is in support of ‘cheap corporate assholes’ but not because of them.

There are relatively very few people that have the education

Agreed. I would suggest that the fact that this was an open source project led to it being found, publicly outed, and rapidly fixed. If it had been closed source it may have lived for a long time hidden and exploited while some government agency/big software organization debated what to do about it or how the public

But unfortunately, open-source projects need oversight and funding to remain secure—and they don’t always get it.”

No. They do not. Period.

Every software source has had bugs and dangerous oversites over the years. This big one shows just how little even large corporations are willing to invest into computer science

Not surprising.  Many think this will be the year bev, and Tesla in particular, take off but I dont see it.  There is too much headwind from necessary elements in the supply chain.  We need the batteries, the chips, the shipping, and the money for bev to really take off.  All of that is still at least a year away.

Never buy a gaming chair. They are all garbage.

It was a happier time:
