I was ghosted by a guy I was dating in college. This is loooong before the internet; he said “call you tomorrow,” and then didn’t and dodged me at the usual meeting places. I later heard he was seen at a party with another girl, so I cornered him at a workshop class and demanded, in public, that he officially break up

Exactly. Is it harder being a cheater or being cheated on? I despise people who elevate their own bad behavior into a personal affliction.

That little girl is amazing. And I laughed when the rapping frog came on.

Which means “Pull it out” = birth control. Uh, not exactly, folks.

It’s probably a desparate attempt to chat with you. Pathetic.

WHAT conservative town? Where did this happen? When did it happen? Yeah, I can read it at the link; however if you’re going to aggregate this story, include the basic journalistic “W’s”

Is it my imagination, or did she change her Twitter handle today to “QUEEN Rachel Dolezal?” She is batshit.

Holy shit, I thought the same thing.

There is some creepy fetishization of the black body in these statement. I usually believe the victim’s charges on all counts—in this case I wonder if she’s being brainwashed by Rachel.

Yeah, my fantasy now is to make men who do this into NONPERSONS. He cannot destroy a woman’s life and continue to exist as a name or even a remembered name. I’m serious—no grave marker for this fucker. No quotes in newspapers from his family. He was officially never born.

translation: “We just couldn’t find an mixed-race actress who is box office gold with racists”

I’m just imagining my mom with my name tattooed on her neck....and it weirds me out. How about letting your daughter own her name and identity for now? When she’s 18, you and she can get a mother-daughter tattoo.

Pain, pain, pain, pain, pain. Plenty of bleeding after. Didn’t try again for 3 years.

I am 5’ 7” and have a heavy frame, and at my lightest adult weight (135), was a size 8. I do think women with smaller rib cages and hips can take smaller sizes, even if they weigh the same as us neo-Neanderthal ladies. :)

The comments below illustrate why body talk can make women feel terrible. I have no problem with people trying to lose a few pounds, but disparaging your own appearance may unintentionally stigmatize other women. For example, I find it very annoying when a woman with say, a 36 B bust, talks about how “small” she is. I

Representin’ 5’ 7”, 175. Pretty much sure my skeleton alone weighs 135.
