But yet, and it pains me to say this, he's not wrong, and Bud/MLB are clearly more villainous in this circumstance.
Jesus, Dan really burned a lot of bridges yesterday. Thankfully, those bridges had already been closed by Chris Christie.
I can't tell if this is serious or a joke, but either way it's hilarious
Things That Are Democratic, Ranked by Tony Kornheiser
That ballot is hilariously antiquated. Looks like a pot luck sign-up sheet for a local church group. And mail or fax only? Really?
Even the guy who invented that symbol for MS Word is shocked that it was used on an actual ballot.
And Maddux won three of his four Cy Youngs while Morris was still pitching.
I really like this, if only because it makes Ken Gurnick sound as rational as someone who thinks we shouldn't have cured polio.
That a Hall of Fame is useless as a museum if it's just going to pretend the offensive explosion of the '90s never happened?
Jack Morris played until 1994. Since Gurnick has already stated he won't vote for anyone "of the PED era", only had one player he saw fitting on the current ballot and will only keep going into the "PED era", just take away his ballot. He's not using it.
Jack Morris and Greg Maddux played at the same time for 9 years.
I think Gurnick makes a great point about Morris. Morris took the high ground consistently throughout his career. He was a principled player, and an upstanding man.
FWIW, realize that Bud Selig signs this guy's checks.
Given that what she said was pretty daft, good thing I came here to read all these refreshing comments.
Well English isn't Jameis' strong suit, he even struggles with the meaning of basic sight words like "no" and "stop"
No language or dialect is superior or inferior to any other. All speech has the capacity to express the same ideas and thoughts. Southern English and AAVE are just as valid as whatever you consider "proper" English.
Knock knock.
