This whole thing is so sad. It makes me grateful to live in the UK where your average every-day Police officer doesn’t have a gun. Of course there are unfortunate shootings by armed officers (That student after the 7/7 bombings was horrific), but the casual brutality of this act is appalling.

The whole thing seems off balance. The mother sends him a snippety message asking for her money back and being all ‘I don’t approve of your lifestyle and won’t have little Tarquin and Felicia exposed to unconventional ideas’ - she comes across as a bit of a snobby bitch, but the the teacher goes off on a tangential

I’m a she. But as for being an apologist: I don’t give much of a fuck about either side of the argument TBH, it just annoys me immensely that this post has ‘gone viral’ with people waving their rainbow flags and spouting ‘you go gurl’ and ‘gay rights’ and generally shovelling hate in the direction of the original

LOL not at all. Just a shame he didn’t handle it in a more mature way

I don’t disagree - I think it’s ludicrous. The drama teacher, though, immediately had the moral high ground and instead of responding in a dignified way, his post devolved into something overly dramatic and petty. He had such a great opportunity here and he squandered it in childish pettiness.

Oh I’ve had one of those, although the Manager doing it wasn’t ‘coming on’ to me at all - he was just that kind of guy. I really liked him (professionally) and got on well with him. In the end it became a bit of a joke. Guess you’d have had to have been there but the first time he did it freaked me out.

It’s really hard to be on the receiving end of unwanted advances - regardless of the position of the person making them. I was in an awkward position with a colleague once - he made advances on me and I wasn’t confident enough to challenge it. It’s not wrong for someone who fancies someone else to make advances - it’s

LOL This is like Pinkham’s law.

Indeed. Which is why you should always be clear when you post things. Strangers just go by the words in the order they are written in:

Pet Insurance is your friend. I took out a policy on my cat. He’s nothing special - just a moggy (as opposed to an expensive show-cat or purebred), but I love him dearly and I knew that if something happened to him, I couldn’t afford the bills. So I took out pet insurance. It costs me around £7 a month. He was hit by

    Pedestal.

^ This. I have a Cat and 4 Rabbits and the vet bills aren’t even remotely cheap. That being said, I actually clicked on the link the OP is asking for people to help her buy a new car. Isn’t that what car insurance is for?

Isn’t the whole point of the Zoolander movies the fact that ALL the characters are overblown, overacted stereotypes? Zoolander and his identical ‘Looks’, how ‘Blue Steel’ stopped a Ninja throwing star, Will Ferrall. The whole thing is a parody and piss take of the fashion industry. Stop taking everything so seriously.

Shades of Marylin Manson here. Getting kinda sick of BC though. My Fiance calls him ‘Benedict Come-on-your-back’. XD

Where is the rest of the skirt...?

His legs are literally twigs. How do they not snap?

This dress COULD have been disastrous. As a BBW myself, I know this kind of fabric clings to EVERYTHING but this really works on her and is actually kind of flattering around the middle. Shame about the boob-stretch, though.

I saw it Friday night - it was very dark and brutal. I actually screamed at one point - they ramped up the tension to fever pitch and then shock you - you know it’s coming but it still makes you jump (people who’ve seen it will know which scene I mean, I’m not spoiling it for those who haven’t).

Somewhat controversially, I’m not sure I agree with the response from this teacher. As homophobic Facebook rants go, the original post is pretty mild. The mother did not, at any point, suggest that his ability to teach her children was impaired by being gay, she simply stated that, as she disagreed with his lifestyle

I thought the exact same thing.
