I pay $8/month for Netflix. If ESPN could actually push farther into cord cutting and offer themselves more like HBOGo, I would do it in a heartbeat. So instead of getting $6 and change through negotiations with the cable company, just charge $8 directly to the consumer. I would stop my Verizon cable the same day.

Elif — my brother was victim. We are still desperately trying to determine the make/model of the car. Can you please send me the analysis you are talking about regarding the Lexus emblem on the front of the hood?? You can also post here if that’s easier than sending me a PM (can you even PM through Kinja...?).

The Jetta does look good. I’m not sure if the person got the types of cars mixed up.

Red — the victim was my brother. We have heard something from a potential tip regarding a Mercedes. Why are you thinking this was a Mercedes? Is it possible that this was a Mercedes?

Simcik — this is incredible. I am the deceased’s brother. The family is sitting together right now and someone just brought up this article and read your comment. We were all stunned by the work done by the Jalopnik gear heads already and can’t express our deep appreciation for your continued detective efforts.

Jason — My brother was the victim in this crash. Please contact me if you would like to confirm this. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your work on this case. Is there any way you can keep me updated on what the Jalopnik community discovers?

So, just to sum up, the NFL doesn’t want this doctor to be hired because they question his “objectivity”, which is rooted in a dispute where he wanted to compensate all those who objectively had CTE based on scientific data, rather than those that fit into a definition negotiated by lawyers?

Or a head of marketing. Oh, wait, is that what you meant by“penetration tester”?

“Less than 100% of her jokes in an 11-year-old movie were funny, so I’m gonna sit this one out.”

.... You can’t be fucking serious. Yeah, she’s had some bad ones —Admission, Baby Mama, etc. — but This Is Where I Leave You was fucking incredible. Ben Schwartzman as the young Rabbi?? Jason Bateman and Fey having some really meaningful dramatic scenes while also having gut-busting... ok, see, now I’m all worked up.

Uhhh... did you see his reaction? He kind of flicks his tongue a little... I’m thinking it’s at least a 50/50

Recently, I was part of a small group that met with Justice Ginsburg at the Supreme Court. When asked what she credited for her success she immediately went to Marty and said something like, “you should all hope to find a partner that values your success as much or more than their own.” It was really very touching.

It’s a serious world out there, and some times you need to give the cold, hard farts.

what the fuuuu.....?? As someone who has been deer hunting, this whole story is just insane. (A) Shoot to kill or don’t shoot, anything less is cruelty; (B) this is why you bring a knife; (C) the drowning deer image will not leave my brain. Thanks, Mark!

Two of the six most important words are the least important word?

The paralegal-lawyer relationship is not unheard of. As a former biglaw paralegal, there were all sorts of rumors of past associate-paralegal pairings, and even one paralegal-partner pair. I don’t know that there are any special considerations here other than typical boss-employee issues and the whole, “don’t tell

Right. See my actual post:

Yeah, when I first saw this and read the Tumblr I was like, “holy shit — what happened??” When it turned out that Crown Vic’s only actions were not helping her and generally being terrible people (glad those involved were deservedly fired) it made me wonder where the whole “you will be roofie/raped/attacked at Crown

And Mr. Rogers was...
