Absolutely. The dropoff from Celebration Rock is huge. This album sounds like they’re trying to sell songs for commercials. It’s lifeless.

He’s the new face of the franchise, and he knew what he was signing up for.

I also feel like that with “Secret Meeting”, mostly because they opened with that many times I saw them after Alligator. So I always knew I’d hear it and figured it meant they liked it a lot.

How many albums go gold after such a long period of time? Even the Violent Femmes’ debut, which I believe is still the only album to go platinum while never making it on the Billboard 200, took less than 10 years to get there.

The worst standup special intro is the tracking shot from the street, down an alley, into the club’s back door, through the backstage circus, and on to the stage.

In that era of Seinfeld, I wonder how many Fargo references they would’ve shoehorned into their scenes.
