I’m trying to get my 2017 list together and plowing through some late releases. High-tails’ A Slight Hi has been a very pleasant find. Like half of it reminds me of Robyn Hitchcock. Last Leaves’ Other Towns Than Ours has also been getting some good listening cause it’s basically another Lucksmiths album.

Their current local TV contract gets them about $20M per season, and they will be renegotiating on a new contract for 2020 or 2021. Being a bottom 5 ratings team isn’t helping.

While I agree that the Americans was slow, I am confident in them nailing the final season. I think back to Justified’s uneven season 5 setting up a fantastic season 6 to end the series.
