Awesome! i played Renegade mp, but only offline bots at a friend's house a couple times. I eventually got it as part of the C&C first decade pack but only played the campaign. Such a unique multiplayer mode!

Don't worry. In a year or two the app store game market will crash. I don't know if it'll be because Zynga goes bankrupt or if processors like the Tegra K1 bring desktop applications and performance to mobile devices, But its coming. Soon...

In this case it was just an ad that proved ironic, but air pollution in China is a serious problem. This picture shows it pretty well.

Why is everything so excited for this? Its literally CoD with normal soldiers and CoD with tall soldiers. Hawken and other 'mech' game manage to truly capture the feel of controlling a massive war robot. Titans are just bigger soldiers.

Did he really expect there to be two solid months of content out at release? Its been 64 days. 1536 hours. There is no way 1536 hours of game content could be made and released for next gen consoles in just two months. Of course there is going to be downtime!

This isn't really a "Here's how" its just a video showing the progress of their mod.

Exactly but in some cases those programs to read the data files are really hard to come by. Some developers like to ship their games airtight with no visible access to the files.

Just goes to show we all have a little white on the inside!

Its a shame its so shaky. I watched one Falcon POV video where a guy just let him fly around and record the scenery. He must have used a different harness because that was very steady. The only really watchable part of the video was the last cooperative kill

Clash of Clans is one of the most successful video games of all time. So, as you can probably guess, it has clones. Lots of clones.

The soldiers still need to line up the target. This system basically creates a bulleye that accounts for bullet drop and wind. If you can't hit a bulls eye this won't help you.

His main argument is that a community around a game is made up of the large amount of people that buy it at launch. This is largely false. A strong community only forms when it is allowed to grow over time. New players added over the lifetime of the game help make the community stronger. Consistent updates also

Idk how easy it is to rip files from a retain 360 disc. I know it is possible to pirate 360 games on a modded console but I think its just a copied disc file without copy protection. These modders might have ripped the assets or maybe they made them all themselves

I'm glad the rumors of Valve building a competing headset to the Oculus rift were false. The OR needs a critical mass to become successful and "alternative vr headsets" just divide dev support

Game design could definitely benefit from this. See how each fighter has hard points for weapons? Each battleship has large anti ship turrets as well as missiles and flak guns. This creates an opportunity for unique gameplay. You could have a battleship with all flak guns to screen enemy fighters. You could have a

Why couldn't it be a first person shooter or an action adventure game. You could travel across worlds, meet characters from different games. Maybe there is a meta story that has you saving the Valve universe. Not all crossover games have to be brawlers. Look at kingdom hearts

Eh, if the general game design is poor, no amount of extra work will fix it. Now if they're just trying to tighten up the graphics, add a new level, or fix a bug then there is very little to worry about.

They should have kept the touch pad. I use my dualshock 4 on PC and the touchpad is invaluable. It makes all "partially supported" controller games fully supported. I can move around mouse menus and server browsers easily.
