Rory’s not interested? Great, one less person to trample in the line to acquire a Z8. My dog, they are beautiful.

Recently drove a friend’s ‘19 Oddy. Nice van for sure. Lots of gadgets. Lots of space and convenience. But if I was in the market, hybrid tech and AWD would be priorities for me, and therefore the Honda takes 2nd place to a loaded Sienna.

Neat find and what an interesting story!

It’s not this first tunnel that gives me any trouble... it’s the second one which we are told is to connect the villages of Skopun and Sandur. I’ve never been to the Faroe Islands, but Google Maps tells me those two places are but 8.6 km apart by road. Hmm....

“His name rang a bell” made me LOL. Respect. But that did make me laugh.

Hasn’t 2020 given us enough irrationally deranged violent white men? Hard pass.

That is a helluva find. My in-laws have the same truck with a nearly identical spec. Curiously, FIL ordered it with manual windows and a sunroof (which is power-operated.) Though it is slow a locomotive to accelerate, it is stout as heck and yeah, nigh-unkillable.

Looks like a 7/8 scale Accord with some Audi DNA out back. Should sell like hotcakes.

How do we know that was a/c related? Couldn’t it just be one of the many fire-prone Kias?

Ah the ol’ fix-it-in-the-auto-parts-store-parking-lot approach. We’ve all been there!

My uncle’s mother in law gifted him her Bravada when she was too old and frail to drive it. As things began to break on it, he bought additional Bravada parts cars. Love the guy but geez, what plastic crapsicles those trucks were!

I think the would have had better fit had there been some kind of Lego interface between the dash top and the modular pods. It looks a bit of a mess though I like the concept.

I see two on eBay. One is parts-only.

Minority opinion: Love the Beast was good until the (climactic part at the end of the second act.) Then Bana got way too hung up on that event, IMO. That’s just what happens.

I gotta say, when you post em together like that, the old beige one looks atrocious. Really downmarket. And the green color of the newer one looks to be trying too hard. Black, red, silver, white, or nothing.

‘85 Cressida - same cool overabundance of buttons and switches, equalizer sliders - AND the remote pod by the wheel with stereo volume knob, station tuning, and some essential HVAC controls.

With TWO allroad models from the folks in Ingolstadt, this is inevitable. (And it will be hideous)

Isn’t this Maverick going to be based on the smaller Transit Connect?

And that’s a Sebring-grade taillamp lens. Hard pass on this whole thing. I’ll take my $700K elsewhere, thank you very much.

Another vote for a hitch mount system, specifically the 1Up. I installed a 2-tray ‘super duty’ system on my Previa a few years ago and I use it 2-3x a week. Note you’ll need a 2" receiver. IMO the heavy duty system is overkill unless you plan to do a lot of high-speed shuttling with a friend’s Raptor. LOL. Oh, and the
