I recall touring the Sindelfingen plant in the late 90s and caught a glimpse of an R230 mule running around in heavy camo.  No pics allowed of course.

Cut n paste this copy for the “Mustang -based SUV”. 🤢🤮

I would be most pleased if there was a kei-lopnik sister site that just covered JDM phenomena like this. Anyone else?

fuck trump. that’s all i can say.

It really seems like the V-spec buyer is the one who’ll give a rip about torques. Caddy is dead to me.

She (and her stunt drivers) sure made that car look badass and desirable.

For the fellow Gen Xers out there, was anyone else’s head blown when they realized that Hunter was basically Dirty Harry in a tv series?

Any chance it’s a leftover movie prop? No idea why an LAPD vehicle winds up in Russia - maybe it’s a from a Dwayne Johnson flick.

Very cool! Those road trips sound enticing! I am puttering around with some improvements on the interior of mine so we can do a summer adventure trip. Washington State to Western NY and back. I am installing a bed deck with storage cubbies, plus a roof rack for a box and de rigueur awning.

My walk to work takes me past a German car repair shop, and a Previa was parked outside of it last winter. “For Sale. 290K, $1,950.” Meh, I thought, that’s a lot of miles. It’s true. Pics for this review are unexpectedly bad.

Shouldn’t this be Matt Farah’s next million-mile car???

Man, that coupe was the business.

I’d like to be chauffeured around in that Alphard or perhaps a Vellfire for a million miles. Please be sure to affix a bike rack to the trailer hitch receiver first, Jeeves. Off to Whistler Bike Park we go. Please and thankssss.

No dice if you wear a 14. Sad panda.

Well, kinda. It seems they’ve set their sights on Ferrari... in the wrong way.

Don’t mind this design element - though I think Nissan went too far with the Murano’s fenders - but I would like to see the end of the big boxy fender openings a la GMC trucks. I think the Hummer H2 and H3 are to blame for starting that. See also GMC Terrain. Gross.

Make. a. van.

As a Previa owner, I’m thrilled to read more about this wild JDM van. But I’m curious your assessment of the fuel consumption in the summary of the review.  Didn’t you test the hybrid? Doesn’t it get 43 mpg? Seems fantastic to me.

Now you’re talkin’.

Statistically speaking, it’d make Tesla’s sales significant. More years of ‘3 sales - particularly if growth is observed, makes for a trend. At this point, there are not enough of them on the road to make this sales figure terribly meaningful. I’m not saying I’m not impressed, and I’m not anti-Tesla in the least. I
