I’m in love I’m in love and I don’t care who knows it!

Here’s something that crossed my mind in the middle of the night recently: hijackings will be on the upswing when autonomous trucks begin to increase in popularity. Think about the beginning of Fast and Furious 4: if not for the human behind the wheel of the tanker truck, the gang would just be able to roll up in

Will someone with money to blow snatch this up and pay Tavarish to install a proper trans?

Living in a relatively small town in the Pacific NW, I am surprised that there are already three 3s here. I love it and I hope the inexpensive version becomes a reality, and soon.

Agreed. Dick move.

My intention was to install a proper trans into my coupe if I could get the motor running smoothly and dependably. (Cheers to the fellow enthusiasts on R3VLimited - free/very cheap trans and motors were readily available up and down the West Coast.) But at each step in the process, I unveiled a new project. Forget

I genuinely despise All Things Harley, so I hope it’s bacon is not saved. Yes, I am willing to sacrifice some bacon. Good riddance.

Former E30 project-haver here, I’ll also recommend Bimmerheads and R3VLimited. I too purchased an unassuming though far-from-perfect Bimmer coupe (dubbed “Otto” for its 3HP22 trans) a few years ago. I never could get out ahead of it, and eventually sold it at a loss. When it was running, it really was a treat though -

Yeah now it looks like a custom front clip fitted to a Corvette. No likey.

No sooner do I comment on the C-pillar of the new S60 than I scroll down and see this BMW render has the same shape. Doubly offensive as the Hofmeister kink is all but disappearing!

Stunning, gorgeous, love it. Ain’t even mad they aped the Maserati C-pillar/window treatment.

Wait, he punished her for NOT cheating?

I’m really hating 21st Century German cars.

That giant blob of chrome at the D pillar is... uh... not good.

For those that are into two-wheeled shenanigans, this same system is coming to FOX mountain bike dampers too.

Funny, I *just* saw one of these in two-door config on Wednesday - it was either green or blue, can’t recall. At the time I was thinking I hadn’t seen one in ages. Sorta carries on the tradition of the Samurai. (RIP!)

I dig the grey body cladding. Reminds me of my Previa.

Re: capability of the current CUV: the first- and second-gen RAV4s with their locking diffs beg to differ. Quite sure this is no longer an option. Latest RAV4 is just 9" shy of the last two generations of 4Runner.

I was very surprised to find it was RHD. Initially, I thought the groom was guiding his bride to the driver’s seat.

Kill

Four cylinder E30s are still *relatively* easy to come by (esp those with slushboxes), and swaps to a proper motor and trans aren’t much harder. Jump on bimmerforums or R3Vlimited if you’re really interested. I bought a clean 318i and it didn’t take long before I had several M20B25 motors + trans available to me, and
