Can someone honestly tell me why the Golf Sportsvan wasn’t/isn’t available here in the US instead of the Tiguan? I really want to know.

Came here for this, and the Testarossa to 512M atrocity. And on the Honda front, the ‘02 facelift of the NSX. Blech.

I think the previous version looks more like the 456. I was backpacking around Spain in the late 90s and was walking around in Tarragona when I spotted one. It was parked in the middle of a small square and I got the rear 3/4 view first. It was red, and awesome. It was like something out of a commercial.

Two instrument cluster options!?!? Oh please oh please.....

Good catch. I'm limiting my thinking to petrol only.

Spy shots from the upcoming George Lucas reboot, “American Graffiti III”!

IIRC the four-pot in the 968 was the largest displacement four-cylinder motor (three liters) in a production vehicle. I could Google that but I’m just going off of grey matter here.

Bang for the buck in CA and OR is high on this route. I drove 101 here in Washington some years ago and was sad to see a long stretch north of Aberdeen where the forest has been clear cut. However, the last stretch where 101 turns east towards Port Angeles is quite spectacular.

So cool! I just noticed this car for the first time last night while watching the flick, though I have seen the movie many times.

I was just watching it last night and noticed the Mirage for the first time - incredible!

I love when a QOTSA song shows up in the morning news here. 3s and 7s? Crank it to 11!

Homme-age

The hell is the purpose of that? I don’t even...

Anyone have figures on the environmental impact of the production of new cars? I am certain the pollution has come way down but just because a Prius is all shiny on the lot doesn’t mean Toyota didn’t belch CO2 and nitrogen into the sky, and puked toxins into the water just like every other manufacturer. Nirvana is real punk rock. More like Insane Clown Posse or some hideous country.

Every other year in Washington State, until the car is 25 years old, then it’s exempted.
