Upvote for K-Car.
The Fairlane name is too fancy for an ordinary car. So I am going to have to overrule you, Raph, and go with the Ford Custom:
Ah I thought you were referring to the reference to standard measurements, and metric. Ah well.
Agreed. Metric or standard. Pick one. If you're gonna duplicate the German ad copy, it's easy to convert the numbers for us.
"Overall weight is down by 48 pounds"
I like it too. Extra credit for a net weight loss despite the addition of stuff.
4x4 squared? Try again, Benzo.
Stop using the word pair "Tesla Fighter" and I will stop freaking out about whatever Project Titan is.
Kia has done real good here. However, babymaking activities are gonna have to happen with the rear seats folded. That cargo area is still wee.
Me too. I think the 1000 is in the cards for me at long last. (Nov. 18-21)
And the curious new-car smell... "Is there a meat tube on a heated roller in this thing?"
I've wondered the same thing. I live near a busy port in Seattle and the short-haul rigs are all retired long-haul sleeper cabs. Lots of unnecessary bulk with resulting emissions. "Perfect" application for a high-torque, low-noise, low/no-emissions vehicle.
I very strongly suspect that the vast, overwhelming majority of automobile trips taken by Americans are to the same five or six routine boring-ass places day after day, and 'in-car navigation' is just another way to keep us entertained with a glowing screen. It's just a new take on the animated soundwave graphic in…
Other notable failures: MobileMe, Maps, BT headsets, and iTunes Ping.
I don't want Siri doing f*ck-all for me at speed. "She" cannot even reliably or efficiently dictate SMS, make appts, flip a coin, etc. I say 'stay off my lawn'.
Oh gee if it works half as good as Siri, this should be a home run. /sarcasm.
Though a much smaller port, the backup in Seattle was remarkable on Friday.
Thanks, BMW. (eye roll)
Shoulda scrolled down before commenting. Ya beat me to it.
