This is going to be frustratingly vague - but there was the mysterious death of that journalist in LA about two years ago where it's suspected his car was hacked and controlled remotely, leading to a high speed crash late at night. He'd just published some damning story about the government...? Anyone?

It appears he took the pic(s) down - missing from Instagram now. :(

Speaking of related stories, can you tell us anything about the development of the D21 drone that was carried by the Blackbird? Was it created alongside the A-12 project?

Here's the downhill schedule for this year - it will be awesome as always. The past few years Red Bull has provided near-live broadcasting via its mobile app and web portal. The app can be set up to remind you of when events are available to watch.

Probably a Range Rover joke in here somewhere...

An acquaintance of mine works for Daimler. He says they have some pretty neat stuff in the works. I think drones could be really useful for delivery of urgently-needed medical goods, for instance.

Serious question: Can someone post an air suspension success story? They just don't freaking exist. Whether you have a Benz or a Lincoln or a Rover or an Allroad, you're gonna be scraping - the ground, and under the couch cushions for money.

But seriously... this ought to be a thing in a few years, right? Right?!?

I kinda found Bana to be a weepy b*tch in "Love the Beast".

No doubt it's a reference to so many past Ferraris. I just don't care for the execution. The FF is almost as bad.

Perhaps they are making room for a numerically-named model to slot in below this "entry level" offering, seeing that they may/will lift the 7,000 car/year limit.

It might sell well, but the grille makes me think "did Reeves Callaway mod a 370Z?"

I kinda suspect that just attempting something so radically different pretty much guarantees them a page or so in the history books a la Tyrrell P34, Brabham, and Chapparal.

There's something else we're going to have to do to avoid a future crisis with our transportation system, and that's spend money on it. Foxx said that we basically called it a day with our highways around 1992 or so; investment in transportation continues to decline.

Thanks for posting up metrics. I was just going with eyeballs on that small image, ya know. ;)

Has me thinking Ford Taurus (nee Five Hundred, the name I preferred) or (shudder) Honda Crosstour.

Random thought... if this is really FWD, would a future iteration look like a reversed DeltaWing - a tadpole trike design? As in a really narrow rear axle?

As in "Rover internals".... save up your repair $$...

Huh - interesting! Are all of the stock hoods black? I hadn't noticed that. Body color definitely looks good.
