"Volvo safety" and "sea of small-text options on a piece of glass" seem to be running at odds, here.

Just how many ____&_____ premium sound systems exist in the world? Seems every year a luxury car debuts with some new, unheard-of stereo that is supposed to be the greatest.

Too much DB4 here. The 365 is far more unique and distinctly Italian.

Gotta say that the wheels save this car. Without them this is really unremarkable in plan view.

isn't that common?

That. Was. Awesome. Just awesome.
Thanks for sharing! (Though that vid might have been :39 at full speed)

This compells me to subscribe. No question. I'd been dithering about it for a while, but I have been missing out on my fix of Harrismonkey.

Is he sleeping? Or has he been cooked to a crisp in there? Or just sexting? Also - no roll-down windows. This is far from perfect. Though I do love it.

The Phaeton was designed to be better than all of its luxury flagship, and in many ways it was, but you can't sell a car like that to brand-snobby Americans.

I'd honestly like to know how the X is going to accommodate us "active lifestyle" folks, what with our perchant for roof-top racks and aerodynamically shaped luggage pods. Not everyone is fond of trailer-hitch mounts, especially my friends with skis.

Not great per se but the Chevy Envoy XUV, odd stepson of the absurd Chevy Avalanche.

Why this bubble form? Yech. The roof is all kinds of goofy looking.

You may figuratively have some screws loose, and bless ya for wheelin' in your G, but screws literally loose in a six-figure press car? BS. Cheers to Collins for calling out this insanity. I know Lieberman had a perma(frost)boner when he took one to the Arctic, but I appreciate that Collins cuts through the crap.
I

I thought the world did away with chromed tire covers in 1989 when conversion vans went the way of the Edsel.

I thought it was a flat circle.

Tell me that you've seen the original! It's 100 times better. And no crappy CGI jump on the bridge over Long Beach Harbor.

I thought Eric Bana whined WAY too much in that movie. "Oh poor rich actor. Crashed his precious first car." Get OVER it. Especially because he'd be out in a borrowed 911 club racer while the Beast was in for repair. I thought Clarkson really handed it to him, more so than Leno.

if Speed Racer, then definitely Cars

Dunno if Orlove was trolling - I feel he shoulda had something more impressive in mind than a 924 GTS - but this may have created the best thread in a year. Came to find a Conquest/Starion, was not disappointed. So many other awesome contributions - special thanks to the Jeep Renegade poster.

Design-wise, I feel it's the Infiniti brand that lags harder. Good grief their cars look just awful!
