“Debates” like this have exploded in recent memory, and it’s because Internet culture is all about hyperbolic absolutism. It’s everywhere; including these blogs. It starts tongue-in-cheek, but that line is forever blurred.

Am I wrong, or is there literally nothing in this post about people getting into fights?
“Just 62 games” ... out of 74. WOW!
T-Wolves didn’t get the Bulls first round pick
Good way to tell when a commenter is correct is when the author gets angry.
There is some serious inconsistency in who is included. Is it where they grew up? Is it where they played HS ball? Is it where they were born? Apparently if you’re any of those, you count. Why not just say Mouth of Wilson has the most NBA players?
I mean, it’s not like the dude is just in the gym fucking around. I’m sure the Knicks superstar is working with a highly paid highly competent professional trainer. Said trainer probably knows a fuckton more about a) working out, and b) Kristaps Porzingis than internet commenter guy
You are wrong. You’re even wrong by the very quote you included.
Giving up the top pick and a chance to draft Markelle Fultz for a yet-to-be-identified future asset seems risky on its face
“My understanding is: If they have the ball, it’s game on.”
Is there a limit on how many years out you can trade draft picks? If I were the Pacers I’d just try to get the Cavs to give up unprotected first rounders somewhere in the 2019-2021 range.
I understand that 2.6 million basically amounts to “nobody” when it comes to network TV ratings. On the other hand, it boggles my mind that 2.6 million people wanted to watch this game (and far more wanted to watch the Russell Athletic Bowl!)
Was briefly flummoxed as to how West could have had six championships as Lakers GM. Turns out it was 85, 87, 88, 2000-2002. Impressive, and odd
The “city” isn’t trying Thompson again. Sacramento District Attorney refers to Sacramento County
The Warriors’ find themselves in this unique position for reasons more complex than just good drafting. It’s the unparalleled nature of Steph Curry’s ascension. Some people don’t even realize he’s been in the league since 2009. 2009! But for the first four years he was just a regular guy. That enables the W’s to sign…
It will be fascinating to see how this plays out, both in terms of an MLB future as well as the public commentary.
Serious question though: accounting for tv and gate (which nba gets a cut of no matter who’s at home), plus less operating costs than teams (who actually have to host the games and pay people), the nba loses a TON on a four game series vs a seven game series.
The first question about defending home court was horrendous. But asking Lebron if he’s tired is a good and fair question, even if you have no reason to expect an honest answer. Lebron responding by touting his triple-double average when his team got outscored by 40 is some weak shit.
Holy shit
