What I don’t really get is why Bungie is bothering to nerf the Gjallarhorn, when it’s already not getting a year 2 version. It’s basically getting two nerfs come September.

They said this in the past few months, whereas everything prior (i’m talking way back even before the game was even released) they repeatedly stated how important your exotics would be and how you could bring them with you forward into new content.

Correct, but Destiny isn’t MMO (if anything you can call it an MMO-lite) and Destiny is notorious for having perpetual dearths of content. It needs more, lots more. Having things taken away or becoming obsolete is a huge step backwards.

Destiny is not an MMO tho... Bungie straight up said it’s a “shared world shooter”. To call Destiny as an MMO would mean it would need a lot more content and features.
