Until he says its not true on his podcast, it’s half-assed and too little. Also, he needs to be more thoughtful about who he gives a platform to. People listen, don’t think critically, and then regurgitate rumors they hear. I’d say that’s on them, BUT those people’s choices have real impacts on us all.
Do the research first.
Yeah. He’s a real hero for doing what a decent human being should do, let alone somebody who’s broadcasting what amounts to “something he read somewhere” to millions of people as if it’s a fact. Profile in courage.
I sure do enjoy that “a single Tweet admitting wrongdoing that reads as if it was written while at gunpoint” is the high-water mark for accountability in 2020.
Right, but he’s still a gullible, unquestioning shitburg that doesn’t know when he’s being played, and that can be just as dangerous with a large enough audience.
I mean, the damage is already done. He’s a grown ass adult with a huge platform and made baseless conspiracy theory accusations that the far right is gobbling up. Fuck his apology

I find myself yet again thinking how glad I am that I moved from NY to the Midwest.
I find myself yet again thinking how glad I am I live in the Midwest. Yeah we have a tornado occasionally and of course we have Trumpets but we have space, most things are cheap and the world isn’t on fire or being washed away by hurricanes. It ain’t perfect but it ain’t bad either
I hear you. I work for a contract research company. Other labs are shutting down, but my work-life balance has swung so far the OTHER way that I’m getting burned out.
Neutral: The air in Portland is orangey-brown, and the nearest wildfire is about 12 miles from my house. The winds are in our favor, and so far no notices, but it’s going to be a tense couple of days...
Stonks are Bro-Stocks, Glitzy Tech stocks, the stocks you don’t own because you can’t afford them, etc.
I’ve been in the industry for my entire adult life in different capacities, but March was worse than the Great Recession in 2009. Last month was our high sales ever... It’s a strange time.
Chrysler was only sells two cars, the 300 and the Pacifica*! If it got rid of the 300, it would be down to a single car.
They aren’t either.
Journey is dead and the Durango can be had with the 5.7L, 6.4L and Hellcat engines.
“That would fit, in any case, with FCA’s apparent strategy of giving its brands clear identities, with Ram being the truck one, Dodge being the muscle car one, Fiat and Alfa Romeo being the Italian ones, and Jeep being the Jeep one.”
