You can encourage your child to want to interact with the other parent, but they also have the ability to choose otherwise. A “good” parent doesn't force things that make their child uncomfortable.
FWIW, her aunt and uncle, who featured very prominently in her life and early musical influences, are calypso performers from Trinidad, so maybe let’s not jump all over her as some dumb white girl stealing culture? She had a band with them when she was young, and was writing songs influenced by Soca when she was under…
Both of my kids had to work, so my fiancé and I made brunch for my mother, which was all recipes from the Disney Parks, including a lobster and asparagus omelette, cheese and potato casserole, and more beignets than you can shake a stick at. I’d be glad to be the “favorite” child, except I'm the only child. But, it…
Read his other book, Maia. It’s insane. Brilliant and fascinating, but wow. Just wow. So bizarre, violent and sexual. I loved it! Not at ALL a kid’s book, either.
Seriously. It’s like people just sit around thinking up the next ridiculous “in phrase” to use on headlines. Woke bae? Really? Especially in a crowd that constantly whined about the word bae? And “woke”? Like what, most men are asleep and ignorant? Bleah. I just hate this phrase on so many levels.
I’ve heard from people who “know people” who say he was very ill, not an addict, and was medicating himself enough to be able to keep working and taking care of everyone who worked for him. This isn't some sloppy addict case at all.
I also legit hire a lady every year who has a rat circus, who just added a cat. She's genius.
I had a cat named Mittens!
The Right Honourable Baroness Margaret Thatcher salutes your kitty’s independent spirit.
Mine does, too! She loves the little tennis balls meant for dogs. She delivers them to me and just stares expectantly.
I work with a lot of performing animals, and it's way more common to see humans get hurt in shows than animals. They really are treated like gold, thank goodness.
True that dogs and cats do stunts differently. Dogs can learn LOTS of individual stunts, whereas cats prefer to excel at one or two stunts. So, when you have a movie where a cat can do like, ten different stunts, you for sure are dealing with at least five different cats. We’re working on mine doing hoop jumping and…
My love and prayers to their family. Maybe the. NFL needs to look at how many of these boys we lose. Good lord.
As someone who directs at Renaissance Faires and works with a touring horse performance group, I agree completely. You test it, test it, test it....then test it AGAIN. Accidents happen, but in theater, accidents can (and sometimes do) kill. Their teacher needs to invest in safe, decent props next time.
True. Which area are we occupying?
It is also frustrating to see that the same people who will comment and say these atrocities need to be stopped also totally disagree with actual war with the people committing said vile acts. How exactly shall we stop this insane tide of extremism? Memes? Waggish Twitter comments? Come on. This has to be stopped and…
Wow, that last quote. For starters, many donors are from accidents, so the idea of them choosing who gets their penis when they die is bizarre, and also, the immediate assumption that gender reassignment is somehow icky or trivial kinda grinds my gears. I have nothing but respect for veterans who have been injured,…
Thank you. I assumed you hadn't meant it badly, but I really appreciate your reply.
Just commented essentially the same thing. Viva surviving!
