A thing that I feel is not being addressed in this ongoing debate: crunch, or the concept of working additional hours, exists in many industries, not just the gaming industry. That doesn’t make it right, but there is a lack of admission here that this competitive work culture isn’t unique to gaming and is in fact

I too stopped R6: Siege midway through the tutorial. Really didn’t like how the guns felt. Also I made it about an hour into Stardew Valley before getting frustrated and stopping.

The pricing structure of that rumor site is wild

Typically I have a Big New Game (Far Cry 5), Comfort Food (Destiny 2 and Overwatch) and my Totally Mindless Podcast Game (FIFA)

I also want to see a sequel to this. It’s possible, given how much time and money Sony has invested into this studio and new IP. A ton of research and development was done to craft this engine. Would hate to see them throw all that away instead of iterate on it.

I still play a few hours per week, although now I’m just endlessly grinding for the Osiris weapons that require specific materials to craft. It’s less and less on my mind.

It’s likely just coming out probably six months too late. Overwatch will likely take much of the same audience, and for good reason. I’ve played the beta and the most immediate problem is the sensory overload. Way too much happening on screen, it’s having trouble communicating to the player what is important.
