I think it’s fair to say that playing video games competitively against other humans is pointless because a computer would always beat you. This is one of the reasons I’ve never once played any online multiplayer game.

Magnus Bastard is such a good name for a band.

Agreed. Enough with the independent court bullshit pretense. This term drew a bloody partisan line in the sand. Call a thing a thing.

One thing I’d like to see from this is for news writers to start putting (R) and (D) next to the justices names like they do with Senators now so it can be clear which side those making these rulings are on. The court has been turned into a nakedly partisan, unelected super-legislature and it’s time we start treating

I wanted to comment on the announcement as I brought this up on the Max Payne 1/2 announcement but studios employ 100s of people and firing a bunch of your workforce due to a lack of projects is always a huge concern. Not to mention you could always do some kind of softball not-really-a-game for a system’s launch

By far the most troubling revelation came via a bio for Batgirl, published to the game’s website, that suggested she’d recovered from her disability through “raw willpower and determination.”

BLOODBORNE! PLEASE!

Netflix was, for awhile, in the right place at the right time with a few ideas that clicked AT THAT MOMENT:

Really don’t get the criticisms of the story of Forbidden West here as though somehow it’s a sudden leap from Zero Dawn when almost all of it is set up in Zero Dawn (what happened to the Odyssey, what was the signal that turned GAIA into rogue AIs, what is Sylens trying to obtain from HADES), or the idea somehow this

That’s the only logical consequence after both Anthem and Marvel’s Avengers have shown that games-as-a-service means nothing if the core gameplay loop isn’t perfect and receives constant updates. If not even an IP like Marvel can sell a live service game, then an original IP has it even harder.

Holy shit - early covid I randomly decided to rewatch Dawson’s Creek and that rewatch was more impressive than therapy in showing me why I’m so fucked up. That show does not stand up to time.

SO MANY times over the years, I have thought that My So-Called Life was ripe for a reboot that focuses on Rayanne.  And yes, I still want it to be set in the 90s.  While I *knew* as a teenager that I was supposed to relate to Angela, we just didn’t have the same home life.  Rayanne’s life resembled mine a lot more:

“We have less money than our rival” is certainly a strange attempt at a burn.

To me, the different approaches seem to go hand-in-glove with the different strategies; Microsoft is focused on GamePass, which means they’re looking for a variety of studios to keep the constant flow of content coming, and Sony is focused on marquee console-selling titles - they want every Sony-owned game to make a

I wanted to change sprint to left control stick, but that changes dodge too. :(

I’m actually hoping for some long-lasting antagonism between Stamets and Burnham after their final scene in this episode - none of this “oh, everything worked out for the best, all is forgiven” malarkey. It’s definitely in-character for Burnham to think that the only possible course of action is the one she’s

It’s a shame they reconsidered.  I’d definitely have bought the game if lowering the difficulty was an option.

You had “rises above the rest” RIGHT THERE.

I think I’ve made the same comment on an earlier article, but I’m surprised that so few games have even attempted to clone BotW. I imagine it’s partially because it must take tons of resources to create a world so large and rich with discovery, but you’d think at least a few devs would have tried.
