Agreed, probably the most scatological episode ever. You got poop, jism, boogers, saxophone noises. What else do you need?

Yeah, It's movie I have no interest in seeing ever again outside of some giffed scenes. The plot is dull, the actors wasted, and the characters are nothing. But I saw King Kong smash a bunch of helicopters to War Pigs, and for those few minutes I was satisfied.

I saw Kong: Skull Island in the most ideal circumstances, after a hike and lunch in the middle of the afternoon with a friend who loves seventies music. It’s a trash film, but it was enjoyable trash. But Hollywood don’t waste Brie Larson anymore.

Man, after this I hope Tartakovsky gets a new show or movie or something. Just let him make anything he wants, he’s so damn good.

One thing I want to touch on is Tartakovsky’s style, because it is so unlike what we usually get in western animation. Instead of aiming for extreme fluidity he manages characters and environments with dramatic and expressionistic images and connects them using smartly exaggerated movement. This is a style that was

Game of all time.

Hate to be that guy, but since I live in ABQ/Santa Fe. Gonzales is the mayor of SF. And he obviously doesn't know how to spell Coen.

Well this weekend I hope to finish Zelda.

Also, despite being a raging misogynist, Gaston has a logical position from the information presented. A monster kidnapped a girl, the town should stop it.

Also no What are You Playing this Weekend? Got a whole essay written up for it.

I hate ascribing GOAT to such a recent release. But this feels like a really special game that has shaken what people expect from Nintendo and from future open world releases.

Was it the encounter with Naydra the dragon because holy shit is that one of the most stunning sequences in recent gaming memory.

If there was an award for most aspect ratio changes in a single episode of television, this most certainly would have won.

More and more Zelda.

What I loved about it was how organic the experience was. Since I never turned the quest marker on it felt like a grand adventure I stumbled upon. I encountered my first Zora in Lake Hylia, and from their they slowly push you with mentions up to the Lanayru area. And once you get there you instinctually head for the

Zelda all the way baby! And the fact that spring break begins now I should be able to finish it in the upcoming week. I want to at least complete all the shrines and memories before finishing the experience, but I am still so impressed by this game.

Busted through the Rito dungeon last night. While the build up to getting to the Divine Beast wasn't as fantastic as the Zora progression (which was way harder) the experience of the dungeon itself was fantastic. Flying up into the air combining the paraglider and arrows, and soaring with the birds was just thrilling

Yes, they are variations of an enemy from the original game. I've fought that one by Mt. Lanayru, and got my butt handed to me. The thing about the Lynels is how fucking smart they. As soon as they spot you, you're toast. I tried sneaking up on one, and it just kept staring at me. I decided to pull out my bow, but as

The best big bad the show ever had, wonderfully set up through the first two seasons, both terrifying and delightful.

The problem with Skyward Sword (a game I still enjoy quite a bit) is that they went so hard into the intricate puzzle design in the three main areas that they felt exhausted of possibility once completed. I still love some of those place (Lanayru mine and the Sand Sea are both very clever locations) but they lack the
