Yeah, I don't think many of these made the jump to the US. The Thick Of It and The Office succesfully transferred. The IT Crowd tried and failed. And I think I remember hearing about versions of The Inbetweeners and Gavin & Stacey, but I've heard nothing about them since so they probably failed at some point.

That's unfair! At least one of them is Canadian.

I wouldn't call the sound effects "expertly timed", more "ripped from a random Youtube video of the game".
That said, hamster going in pipe is pretty damn cute.

If you have the same Annotated Alice I read as a kid, then it really is a great book. It introduced me to lots of interesting trivia, and blew my young mind with its discussion of mirror universes.

I don't think my brain is equipped to handle this amount of positivity.

I'd heard that the game offers you options to rejoin the Atlas "path" regularly. But then I got a call from Atlas, went to meet up, and because I refused the first time, the only choice I was given was to reject it again. Actually, I think I'm gonna reject Atlas for as long as possible.

Mega Man's picture is basically a "rolleyes" emoji in a hat.

Ah, I used to think Silver was such a cool rival when I was a kid. I mean, he actually physically shoved you! How edgy was that?!?
And then I played the remakes, and realized that all of his idiotic pontificating about having the strongest Pokemon happens after he loses to you! He clearly has no right to go on about

Oh my god, that track is SO GOOD! I love what they've done with some of the more obscure titles in the catalogue. I think my absolute favourite is this: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
though I guess this is a retro medley, so the tracks are all from the original - I wouldn't have discovered it without it being in SSB4

They're adding new stuff to New Leaf? That's surprising, it's been out for ages now!

WOW that DOSman looks awful. Is that a level? Is that really a level? Did the player baiting the dog through the level somehow remove all the other enemies and obstacles, because that would be less bad. Oh wait, that would still be massively terrible. If you handed that in for your first assignment at Video Games

I'd like to share with everyone the Rock Paper Shotgun Summer Games, which are very much not based on any current sporting event you may see on TV. The RPS crew compete against each other in a selection of different games. Lots of cheating results.
Also, they prove themselves to be total wusses, and I prove my

Do any of those words fit?

Maybe? I thought that being in a game blocked the printscreen functionality, but maybe I'm wrong. Also, pretty sure printscreen opens the image in Paint and it has to be saved manually. And given how NMS reacted when I plugged in headphones while playing, opening Paint may be dicey. Maybe I could set up something to

I really really hope that is not a glitch, but is in fact intended, or at least they don't mind it being in. It makes it actually reasonably fun to travel round on foot, I don't think I could take it if I actually had to walk everywhere…

The planet I'm on right now has floating octupus-brain things that are a bit like the inside of a Dalek. Thought you might like to know :)
(No pictures, sadly. I stupidly got the GOG version :( ).

Except that the terrain for Xenoblade X is not generated on the fly from rules, like NMS is. That said, the pop-in is pretty atrocious. At its worst, the ground directly below my spaceship is still in "distance mode".

What I feel would really improve NMS in a big way is multiple-biome planets. Minecraft worlds having biomes that vary and lead into each other really adds to the interest when exploring, and if NMS did the same it would definitely alleviate some of the monotony when exploring a single planet.

Played some Reigns using Leap Motion at an event a while back. I found it quite mysterious and enjoyable, albeit difficult (apparently only one person at the event managed to die of old age rather than of violent causes).
