Really enjoyed the Mario 64 article and discussion. The roundtable format worked really well - everyone pointed out something different and interesting, and then of course the comments pick up the points and run with them.

Same here, still low rank village - my completionism has really screwed me over, especially since I got fatigued so quickly.
Massively excited by finally having my first computer build up and running. So of course I immediately have no idea what to play! I have plenty in my library to choose from.
Anyway, the game I chose to try out my new computer was… Proteus. Not exactly gonna push the system.
Anyway, I had a fantastic time playing…
Nice recommendation - always good to discover something new!
Hey now, I only mentioned the first book! Also, I think the first job of anyone adapting the last book is probably to cut that stuff out, like they did in the theatre version (which didn't have Mary Malone at all).
The second job would be to give up, because the third book would probably be way too controversial to…
Most of them are your regular abandoned-place kind of photo, but the one that has been repurposed (the Sarajevo graveyard one) is actually genuinely affecting…
The Northern Lights/The Golden Compass. I mean, in some ways, it's difficult, because of the controversy it would and did attract. That's partly what did for the existing adaptation, fear of getting protested or whatever.
But on the positive side, you have some incredibly cool concepts like daemons and panserbjorne.…
As someone who likes the books but has never watched an adaptation, should I bother?
Actually, it's "doff" your cap. Otherwise, I agree with the sentiment. (I'm sorry, I just had to correct this for peace of mind)
Usually, if a writer here writes about a movie I've never heard of, even it's bad, it's a happy moment of discovery. Having read this column, I would quite like my brain to forget this movie exists and return to blissful ignorance.
As the FPotHHGGFC, can you tell me whether I can find the original radio series with music cues intact? I think I have a CD boxset hidden somewhere, but that's almost guaranteed to have the music replaced.
One key thing I want to point out is what I realized when this article was foreshadowed in the timeline article: Nintendo knew that controlling the camera was something fairly unfamiliar at the time. It's difficult to grasp suddenly being given control of something that had previously been handled for you. So what's…
"You really are from another planet, aren't you?"
Well, there's a lot of good quotes anyway. And fun cameos.
Okay. That is an acceptable answer! I can totally see how that could be annoying. Especially if your Dad like, quoted it all the time or something. I mean, I guess I wouldn't call his style "glib" because I like his writing, but I could immediately identify what you meant.
Those all sound like books I want to read!
What don't you like about it?
Full disclosure: Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency is one of my favourite books ever :)
My PC is now built and ready to go! Yeehaw! I kinda forgot that I would need cable for the internet, so I had to wait a few more days for that to arrive from Amazon. And I have been too timid to update my BIOS.
But I'm gonna do that today, and then I will be ready to PLAY SOME GAMES! Yeah!
This came out at the perfect time. I want something to try out on my new computer and this seems perfect. Though of course you-know-what will probably interrupt when it comes out on PC in the UK.
And so the actor who portrayed the Master in this movie would go on to portray a magical talking cat. A natural progression, really.
The Doctor has Donna in toe?! That's the sort of thing you could only really do in a radio episode, where what that actually looks like is left to the imagination!
