Nope, who are the Andrews Sisters?
Nope, who are the Andrews Sisters?
I counted up the list, and having removed the dearly departed Freakazoid!, there are now 93 items in the TV section. It's a mix of lots of things, but mostly comedies - fairly evenly split between the US and the UK. Age-wise it goes from stuff like The Burns and Allen Show all the way up to stuff that's still airing.
The Final Episode:
Ep 23
Probably not, sorry. Hey Arnold! isn't on my big list of Shows To Watch, plus I'm gonna be pretty busy for a bit quite soon. I'll read your Thoughts Ons of course, but even though I've enjoyed watching a show regularly like this, I think I'll only do it for shows on The List.
I mean for me, it's likely to do with the fact that I really like sailing and the sea in both real life and the game, wheras I'm not a particular fan of horses. I think the rise and fall of the sea do a lot to make travel more visually interesting, and I also found the boat much more maneuverable than the horse. Bear…
Well, they did simplify some bits of the Triforce quest this time round, so it really is less bad.
For me, my opinion of the two games is the total opposite - I love the world of Wind Waker, but I find Twilight Princess's wide-open areas sparse and lifeless.
The demo is 2096 blocks! Hopefully you can fit it on your 3DS!
I tell you what, watching all that "camerawork" they were doing as part of that documentary parody, the only thing I could think was "I bet that was a total bugger to animate"!
Ah, not really a fan particularly, I'm not into musicals so much. But I do remember most of the stuff I read on the internet, including the anecdote about a performance of HMS Pinafore where the stage cat was startled and ran onto stage… just before "Silent be, it was the cat"! I think the performers had trouble…
Monster Hunter Generations demo! It's so great! I cannot wait to get the full game.
Also, Limbo was free on Steam today (probably as a promotion for their new thing) so I grabbed it. It's not a game I've particularly felt like playing, but I guess it's one of those trendsetter games or something(?) I may as well play…
So, what's the meaning behind Steff's repeated "That was quite a joke Freak"? I'm assuming this is a reference I didn't quite get.
Also in jokes I'm assuming reference something, what were they singing as Freakazoid walked past on the plane? And why were they singing it??
This episode features Jeepers as the villain. I thought he was new, until Freakazoid took the watch off of him at the beginning and shouted at him. Then I remembered his cameo in the first episode, where he tried to show Freakazoid "something strange and mystical" and got an even worse shouting-at!
Huggbees!
Aw, you didn't mention Freakazoid's butler in the summary! The poor guy got totally forgotten about! The "stinger" is usually a random unrelated clip, but this time it showed the poor butler still in the auditorium, covered in watermelon and waiting for Freakazoid to come back. I hope the butler shows up in a…
Several books that I thought would be one thing, but turned out to be something else.
Sum: Tales From the Afterlives by David Eagleman - from reading the titular short story, I expected more thought-experiment-ish short stories like that, where some prosaic aspect of life (such as its being chronological order rather…
Tress MacNeille is also really great in Freakazoid! as Dexter/Freakazoid's perpetually smiling, possibly deranged mother.
Astro Boy certainly would be interesting! I believe it's considered the first anime series, its aesthetic being a trendsetter for what came later.
Ah I see. I also removed my quote from episode 18,
"Hey chubby boy, where is your donkey?" just in case.
I thought it was a delightfully silly thing to have Montalban say. As with every other line they give him in this show.
You're saying Rugg did the voice for Censor Lady? Haha that's great!
Yep, Heroboy is a riff on Astroboy. You can tell because of his intensely shiny hair.
