I’m over here just finishing MGSV...
I too saw the top post on /r/gaming yesterday.
I’m sorry - I didn’t reply last night because I immediately turned off my browser and fired up some games, then caught up on Ash vs Evil Dead and some other shows collected by my Sickbeard server (all without switching inputs). I haven’t had to directly do “maintenance” on my PC in a long while - as I’ve automated a…
KSP and SE are similar games, but they cater to different audiences. A lot of people I’ve met who play SE don’t like KSP, and vice versa. They’re both space games for different crowds.
Maybe people on Kotaku don’t feel the need to point out the obvious, constantly compare everything to each other, or blurt out bits of information as soon as a fitting key stimulus appears?
you never heard of running wireless controler to pc ? lol
How, tons of good games exist on PCs you can’t find anywhere else?
Fallout 4 is not going to be an adequate trial of PC scaling. It’s a massive waste of time and money.... if it was done specifically for Fallout 4, yes.
700? 4k? Sure you will
So...the difference is that you look at a TV instead of a monitor. Hook a PC up to that TV and take advantage of the higher FPS. It’ll drop your jaw going from 30fps to 60fps, especially when most TV’s can handle at least 120hz nowdays.
You do realize you can hook up your computer to your big screen and play on that, right? Personally I’m going to be playing this at 4k resolution on my 55” with a PC that cost around $700. It will be glorious!
The game runs like shit on console. 30fps cap and it sometime drop to 0 on Xbone.
I would argue that consoles are a bigger waste, as they are only for entertainment purposes.
“The PS4 and Xbox One versions look almost identical, and while you expect the PC to come out on top (which it does), it’s not like it’s miles out in front.”
Yeah. Most console centric gamers don’t even care bout that sadly. Fact that the PC version is running twice, and at times 3 times better than it’s console brethren puts it “miles in front” imo. People really underestimate what 60FPS brings to the over all presentation, and graphical fidelity of these games. Static…
Not only is PC better quality, but also has a FPS that’s actually at playable rates.
Except for the parts where the ps4 and x1 versions fall into the sub 20 FPS range and in some cases, 0. ggnore
I can see the point of these lists when it comes to consoles with their limited lifespans..
