One of the thoughts that I’ve hated more than anything over the last 300 million years it feels like Trump has been President, is the amount of credit he gets for being some next level supervillain genius who’s masterfully manipulating the press and his believers.

I agree, we should be calling it what it really is, a Bioware killer.

I’m pretty sure those things are designed by people who love cats (i.e. find them cute) but don’t actually own one.

Also it covers their scent, is uncomfortable and hinders maneuvering.

Dear God, why? I don’t even like cats but even I know you don’t cover the poor bastards’ ears. They literally have extra muscles just for controlling their ears and use them for balance and communication beyond the standard hearing usage. This is the equivalent of strapping your unwilling kid into a mermaid tail becaus

Hint fucking hint, Valve.

Even Portal 2, Valve’s much-praised puzzler from 2011, currently has more players online than Artifact.

I worked on both 1313 and Ragtag. Ragtag had killer concept art, ideas, and some new CGI tech that was gonna blow minds.

Daaaaaamn! So I interviewed for this project last summer and pushed hard on my connections to try and get on it (to no avail). Vancouver scuttlebutt on this project is they had a helluva of time recruiting for senior positions, like a Creative Director and a Lead Writer. Hiring was very encumbered - the project had a

Not like LucasArts’ final decade was much better! Star Wars is just cursed. Disney should do what it does with Marvel and hand it out to as many developers as possible.

I’m still digging into this, but the buzz I’m hearing right now is that they may have canceled it to focus on a smaller-scale Star Wars project, one that can hypothetically come out much sooner.

Could EA screw up the Star Wars license any more than they already have? For such a massive company with such a huge property at their disposal, they are just shooting themselves in the foot again and again.

Wow, Disney’s deal with EA sure seems to be paying out nicely for them.

Is this the beginning of your Splitscreen 2019 prediction for EA and Lucasfilm?

I envy your optimism. I, on the other hand, am looking forward to playing STALKER 2 after the worms have claimed my remains (and then thrown them up because I won’t shut up about how good the STALKER games were)

It’s actually more in line with STALKER’s interface aesthetic, but isometric. That being said, Zenimax is definitely stupid and evil enough to make an attempt or at least consult their lawyers.

This response I actually like and respect because you took time to actually elaborate rather than short, lower case, dismissive responses.

And yeah I can agree to disagree. Sometimes though, I feel like journalists will say something “controversial” so that their brand gets more notoriety. Free publicity and all that.

Oh, you’ve changed my opinion.

A meta-narrative about a character’s lack of choice where ultimately the one doing the choosing has no choice.

It’s brilliant.

Someone didn’t get the meta ending.

But more accurately this is more of “I don’t like that thing everyone else is liking. I am novel. Look at me.”
