Oh, funnily, io9 was promoting it on their facebook group. That is how I found about this “article”.

And you are right, it is perhaps not illegal. But it is akin to publicly supporting piracy. Still disgusting, trying to get clicks in such a cheap way.

I just realized that io9 removed the link from their Facebook

isn’t it ILLEGAL to post a review of a LEAKED episode. Is io9 now supporting pirates?

Why you are so hostile to Star Trek: Discovery. Most of your “articles” are basically rants and low brow quality content, which only bring negatives, and almost nothing positive. No one is asking praises, but those posts are a far cry from objective reporting, and constructive criticism.

Also, why io9 is having almost

Trendacosta strikes again! Of all the news from today, and there was a real diluvium, the topic chosen was a minor tidbit from the panel margins.

Where are news about the new theme song, the news about war theme (oh wait that is coming tomorrow in another rant), the news about complex Klingons, about two perspectives,

I am thinking. Why Trendacosta is so negative to DSC. Like negative with capital N. And why she is the one constantly posting about DSC. Is io9 now place where bloggers (this is not journalism) are transforming what usually would be a comment into a full fledged article?

And why there are so many articles about DSC

Io9 (with few exceptions) went downhill from Gizmodo takeover, and Annalee Newitz departure.

Now they are not only hitting rock bottom, they are going under

What is the point of this article. Seriously, can you give me a rational answer what is the point of promoting Orville, as a Star Trek show (which is not, it is a parody, or dramedy, and it is not Star Trek) and using DS9 Vulcan episode as an example of how Trek should look like (!?), as Trek is much much more, and

wait, this is an article? Three paragraphs? Since when is io9 analyzing (or whatever this was?) clips, and selling them as articles?

If the author is so easily confused about this show, perhaps she should allow someone else to replace her? Someone who would actually write a meaningful article, and not an another rant.

it could be only a prototype. You know, one that can be taken through the underground tunnels. Something tells me the final version may be bigger.

If the author paid more attention to his history classes, he would recognize that this weapon is a ballista, and from what we know from the Antiquity, it was quite precise, and it could hit the small target from a large distance. One of favorite Roman siege weapons, but also used at the field.

the trailer!

The Byzantine Empire was partly in Turkey, partly (other part was in Europe). It was actually in their time known as the Roman empire (successor of the failed Roman state). And there was little to no connection with the Turks (Seljuk, Ottoman or otherwise). Different culture, different customs, different religion.

Byzantium would fit into Europe, them being descendant of the Romans. I would say that the bad guys are having refined sense for style. Which could work with a warrior culture.

there is a trailer coming at the panel in two days.

Islamic art. Also they mentioned Byzantine influence for the Klingons.

the famous Delta was intended to be a Starfleet symbol even during TOS. But production missed the memo. So in a way is canon.

Bryan Fuller was behind the idea of alien’s visual reboot. He said that in one of the interviews while he was still part of the DSC team, and his closest associates (people whom he appointed before he left), said the same in the recent interview for EW.

A day when Trendacosta is writing an objective article, and not ranting against everything Discovery. And a day when we are getting a ton of info, and each of them looks better than the last. What a day to be alive. :)

This looks beyond amazing. And it is only day 1. And obviously, no USS DIscovery.
