At that point, remaining in a position of power and influence, whether it’s a seat in Congress, a seat on the bench, CEO position, whatever, is about ego and thinking you’re indispensable. You’re not. No one is.

Yes, very well said. Just this last week, I was wondering how different things would have been if RBG had gracefully retired when Obama was still in office? How much worse off is our nation due to her insistence on staying on the Supreme Court well past any point of reasonable retirement?

In a year not a single person will care about the last few months of her time in the Senate

I think you’re wrong. Millenials and Gen Z have become acutely aware how “silent generation” leaders have set the USA into intractable mores that have stymied progress for decades still to come.

In a year not a single person will care about the last few months of her time in the Senate

She was a trailblazer with a mostly positive, but mixed, record (e.g.: https://www.advocate.com/politics/dianne-feinstein-lgbtq-record), a typical left-leaning but powerful Democrat who, like many of her ilk, occasionally had trouble avoiding the temptation to punch left.

Weird Shepard thinks the “extreme” pro trans position is “trans people should be allowed to compete at the Olympics.” Trans people have been allowed to compete at the Olympics for nearly 2 decades, since 2004. Says a lot about both Dax’s ignorance and the inherent reasonableness of the “trans agenda.” Anyways, I’m

More teens get breast implants than trans top surgery by a significant margin, but I’m sure Dax and the rest of his ilk aren’t concerned about that fact.

Exactly this.

And how many times do they have to be told that nobody transitions in order to win at sports?

“Some people are very uncomfortable about teenagers transitioning…”

Dax could quite simply duck out of a conversation he’s out of his depth in and all these assholes who magically developed major concerns about women’s sports overnight could maybe make an attempt at being less transparent about the fact that they’ve found a clever way to disguise their sense of ick about trans folks.

Can we cancel Dex Shepard already. I find him exhausting.

Especially the women” a frantic, sweaty David Cage shouted into the microphone before he could be wrestled away by PR. ‘

Sure, but like any other Quantic Dream game, you have to temper how neat this sounds with how absolutely stupid it will be in reality.

You are being deliberately obtuse. She said she had hoped it would be raunchier, you took a line about pushing boundaries, and tried to turn it into homophobia.

You are not going to admit it, but you are just wrong.

the show _is_ in good taste and i, a queer, trans person, have said as much, repeatedly, online, in person, and on social media. you are deliberately taking a Single Quote and misreading it.

I can almost assure you that I almost never clutch pearls lmao. that quote, taken out of context, certainly makes it appear that i don’t like to watch the implication of fictional men fucking on screen, but i can assure you, i liked it.

Are you illiterate or just trying to be disingenuous and misleading on purpose?

You may wish to reread the article. Linda clearly professes her enjoyment for the show, and it’s current content, throughout. Removing a single quote from the context of the rest of the article is a disingenuous effort to make her seem homophobic.
