This car does in fact have on-the-fly power distribution tuning. I don’t know if it will ever be integrated into a “controller,” per se, but the beauty of the electric motors and differentials is the ability to redistribute power to make the car FWD, RWD, AWD or some combination without difficulty.

It’s also worth pointing out he’s faced some consistently bad luck with crashes and mechanical problems over the years that held him back from his full potential. Your point still stands, though.

I understand. I’ll admit the R is more geared to comfort as a daily, but, as with many things, it depends on the driver. As a driver of Fiesta ST, I clearly don’t overly prize the creature comforts of a daily. I prefer the raw “smiles per gallon” along with at least a basic level of comfort. I would agree the Golf

As an aviation enthusiast and student, I agree with you in principle. However, I also recognize that pilot training/education/licensing is completely different than for autos. So perhaps using the term “autopilot” does in fact mislead the general public.

Sounds about right. Enthusiasts love the cars. I came within seconds of buying a GTI but it got sold from under me. Ended up with a FiST and very happy. Both the best cars for driving (not just transporting one’s self in a car) I’ve ever enjoyed, but the FiST was so raw and go-kart fun that it fit my personality and

My first car was a 6-speed Scion iM. My second and current car is a 6-speed Ford Fiesta ST. So this is basically my dream car (as in, I will literally have dreams about this car).

The ramblings of someone who understands neither lending nor capitalism/socialism.

You mean, you want a Fiesta/Focus ST?

Too bad the Veloster is uglier than Palpatine and Vader combined.

How does one become an automotive journalist? Or even a freelance automotive writer? Just write things, and hope someone bites?

Not all heroes wear capes.

Two weeks ago, I purchased a used car at an Audi dealership. You’d expect great service from Audi right? I had no such expectation - I was purchasing a 2014 Ford Fiesta ST. Sticker price: $13,800, about 20 thousand under the lowest MSRP of a new Audi. I expected the quick push, brush off, etc, which I had faced at

I always use the line, "Well I won't keep you. It was great catching up!" Or something to that effect

Back in the good old days, there was this product from Neosporin called Lip Treatment. Neosporin LT was THE SHIT.

I'm a college student on a tight budget. How do I get to do new and interesting things (actually one of my favorite activities is trying new stuff) without breaking the bank (more like a piggy bank)?
