Why don't you quote her own words about him (his name was Hickman)? She had no sympathy or compassion for him, she said explicitly that he was a monster.
My view is that it is morally repugnant to feel compassion for, say, tha Nazis who sent Jews to the gas chambers, or the September 11 terrorists.
