It is unreliable. The idea that something is reliable”if” you work on it all the time is ridiculous. You barely need to put oil in a Supra of that era. The Z? Replace the timing belt every 60k and you’re GTG. Mine has 200,000 miles, the entire drivetrain is original...all the metal bits. Even the head gaskets has

It’s a great orange, but they're very different.

I was gonna buy one but the non-standard GPS was a no go. Instead, I saved $145,000 and bought a 2004 Matrix with a new, included GPS sytem

Agreed, you can shift at anytime you want without a manual now. No clue why people want that extra pedal when it’s actually slower nowadays.

Hopefully it’s reliable now, it wasn't before.   So really, it had too much power for what it was

The fast Vettes have two pedals.  It's 2018.  I have no clue why enthusiasteans slower car.

Different market.  BMWs are for people with at least a HS diploma and over 65% of their teeth

Daddy bought you too many matchbox cars. This isn’t competing with a Corvette. It’s competing with a Porshe Boxter and in reality, competing more with a very weakish Miata than a Corvette. It’s a fairly small, maneuverable convertible.

Tesla doubters have been right 8 of 10 times. That said, they’re gonna get killed by the new Jaguar, Volvo’s and even the new Kia. Productipn will ramp up a lot after this/next year’s sales. Too many bugs, at the wrong time to have them now that there are other options. They better get on those semi’s.

Yes, one seat,  steel wheels,  manual windows.   I don't think it's profitable enough for them to slow manufacturing the profitable cars... assuming they EVER make a profit.

What if you kill your rich parents for their life insurance?   That's taking risk,  just like a stock trader

His daddy is a REAL billionaire

My brother lives in a $250k townhouse. He has a $300k sailboat. He’s not high 6 figures. Maybe $200k a year. It all depends on your priorities. I made $15k a year for almost 10 years. At one point, I had over $30,000 in bikes...the kind you pedal.

Unless you live in SanFrancisco, you can easily live on half of that and save more. Iived on less than $15k a year until I was 33.  I wasn't saving money,  I just preferred play over work.   But I could still do that with the $60k or so I make now but I'm an idiot and started dating someone with kids💩

I’ve dated one of those self-made people. She made about $70k a year while we were dating. She bought her own house in cash... after living in her parent’s 5th home for many years. One of those houses wit a $20k monthly mortgage and monthly $10k HOA bill(not kidding).   She dumped me for being a liberal.    I loved

4 wheels, and a windshield.   They're practically twins

Only with the Mustang and Raptor. Not yet for SUVs. The Porshe Macan Turbo, Jeep Track Hawk and Durango SRT are on a different planet and will stay there if the ST has “only” 500hp

Most don't care.    They will buy what look a good for the money.    People that tow will want this for what it is.

With a heavy car,  driving up steep canyons(I ski over 150 days a year in Utah),  I'd still rather have RWD.   They make you put chains on anyway,  no matter the tires... if you don't have AWD or 4WD.  FWD help a when getting out of a parking spot.   Once the hills get steep... Weight shifts backwards anyway.

FWD makes for front heavy cars.  Making the front brakes do even more than they normally do.   Handling isn't as good so you're also likely going to brake more.
