It’s a Ford, you should see how much they screw up designing vehicles.  It wouldn't surprise me.   And yes, I'm a hater that owns a Ford for work(no choice...has to be Ford)...fine while they last but they don't last long

Almost everyone in my lot parks like crap. May as well be able to see around a small car. People in big trucks are just as bad but a 15degree, cockeyed F250 can take up both surrouding spots.   You can practically park a Honda Fit at 45 degrees and still be between the lines.

The Miata is amazingly clean and gets better MPGs than advertised.  I know people getting 42mpg on the highway

You will eventually have no choice. Modern automatics are better anyway and you can still shift them and rev however you want.   Even with some CVTs

Depends on how reliable your present car is and what kind of gas mileage you get vs the car you want.  Say my dad gave me an F150 that's running me over $1000 a year to maintain and I drive A LOT and get 15mpg.  A cheapo Mirage may be all I need.  It'll get almost triple the gas mileage and need almost no maintenance…

FWD and AWD(for cars with less than 500hp) is lame. Muscle cars are too.   My Ford Transit 350 with RWD is more fun than a Golf R...not as good as my Z though

You’ll have no choice but to pick from cleaner cars. That said, motorcycles have terrible emissions, even with that 50mpg.  For many metrics, a bike with a cat(not common) 2-15x a given pollutant...for a vehicle that holds 2 but rarely does.  

It’s possible, and they will have no choice.  And every vehicle doesn't have to meet that standard.  A company can up their numbers with hybrids and EVs.
