Nice apples to hex wrench comparison. We're comparing platform to platform. Otherwise, you can compare a Lambo to a Suburban

They really tend to be short a good 2mpg. That can be significant for meeting new standards for companies like Mazda and Subaru
They can meet the standards with hybrids and new ICE engines like Mazda...no problem. Then there's electric.
They want the size. If a big SUV could get 50mpg, they'd want that instead. This forces manufacturers to produce what we want across their line of cars
Nothing is scary at the speed limit. Go to a track, only use the gas pedal, do not to use your brakes...pretend you’re too tough for a ZR1
No Ford from this era should be a 5 figure car
A standard Mustang would be failing too
That 2010 car is much more likely to hit 200k without ill. The 1990 car may make 200k but probably not without something happening
I’ve had cars for 19 years. Newish and old. I've only been without for a day. And that was the oldest car of the bunch.
Not a problem if you pass your can on at 250,000miles. Unless you're an idiot and buy a BMW for the long term. Sell that at 50,000
They’re tickling the idea of a supercar. It won't be this but I can see them making something in line of a NSX for $100k and maybe $150k with all the goodies.
I bet Hyundai can profit on these at $45k in lowish volume if they’re using a FWD drivetrain out back. Upper $30s if they sell enough of them. I won't ever buy a new car, but I'll buy one as soon as it drops below $30k for one in good shape. I just need to figure out how to fit 6'4" long skis in the hood...
Imagine if Ford and Chevy started their reputation on what they made in 1985. They had no excuse for the crap they made since they previously made decent cars.
But unlike Dodge, these cars will be fast(not as fast in a straight line) AND reliable, and not handle like crap.
Trump is confused about Agent Orange because he's Agent Orange for Russia
Front wheels, spinning at the same speed are a problem at high speeds. Not a huge deal with the smaller wheels on a FWD car that sits 5" off the ground. While you may be used to it, the facts are there
This is all the truck I'd want. You can buy an F150 if you want a bigger bed. This is plenty for hauling my bikes and heading up the mountain for skiing. I just wish the base model was a few thousand cheaper.
Full time 4wd is terrible and not even safe at highway speeds. I've driven a few and I couldn't imagine driving 80(posted limit in much of Utah) and having to make a fast turn to avoid an accident. Even 60 would be pushing it.
There are other 4 seaters but you need to be willing to sacrifice supercar status. You probably aren’t ripping it anyway with 2 kids in the back. But Lexus, Infinity, BMW, Mercedes etc. They all have something. Put a little extra money in and you can have more power than a 9/11
I can’t believe this is only $1000 for 4.5hrs of labor. I figure the hourly would be much higher.
