True but sports sedans are getting better and better in the handling department. My 1995 Z was one of the best driving sports cars you could buy when it was new. Now? A stupid Civic handles better and is faster. And that Civic isn’t much worse than a new 370z with its torque vectoring. The gaps are shrinking. The

They didn’t sell many before and they were hella fun. The 86 is fun and cheapish but you’ll need to pay for crap in your pants speed. Buy used like all the tuners did with the last Supra. I won’t really tune one but I can see myself buying a 2019 Supra when its 10 years old. Assuming I can get one for $35k or less

Who knows what they’re thinking. The 300zx TT had 300hp when the Supra came out. The 370 is literally the same price with only 50 more horses. Also, 300hp gets you more speed than it used to get you. My 450hp, modified 79 Corvette, with power to weight included can be more equally compared to modern cars with 350hp.

It makes sense for rationalizing target markets. Just look at the Carolla which is more iconic to Toyota than the Supra. The Carolla has always been a bare bones car, even with new tech. The Corvette is a different animal. It was always a plastic piece of shit inside until fairly recently(I had one for 5 years). It’s

Outselling European brands for cars they still seem secondary. The cars are great, he’s still full of BS. He can be realistic but you get more investment when you lie.

A lot of people need to learn to piss IN a toilet, even if they get the idea

You guys really think it takes a special talent to drive one of these? Its not an F1 car. And you aren’t talented for being able to drive it. And yes, I’ve driven one. You can drive it like anything else. It will just get you in more trouble if you try to play too much.

2600? Why not 11600lbs? Of course that would be nice but 3300 is already light for such a big car. Making this car 2600lbs with the options it has would make the car super car priced with the performance of the super affordable SS.

I doubt this mechanic was 8x faster than typical labor times with the work he actually did. If that’s common, there is a massive billing issue, or they see how long a job takes a house cat to finish and use that for labor time.

Low cars are more aero. They aren’t going to make it for a 7 footer are they? Imagine all sports cars being 4-6" higher. I’m only 6'1" and there are cars where my head tickles the liner. That’s my problem, not the manufactures. I wouldn’t buy that far, plenty can.

Most crops we grow goes to livestock which pollutes even more than our cars. They don’t offset anything.

They already get extreme subsidies. We should pay what food costs to grow. That includes their increasing fuel prices.

People felt the same way with carburetors. Now, most older performance cars get retrofitted with fuel injection if they’re upgrading. Enthusiasts will become DCT people. At least until CVTs become the future. Enthusiasms should come from better, not worse performance. So enthusiasts will eventually go that route. Now,

A car is an appliance. A Supra is a toy. A toy that works better with modern tech. You can stomp the floor with your left foot without a clutch.

The looks are super but it performs like a $50,000 gasoline car. That is not a super car. No idea what they were thinking with the lousy performance per dollar with this car. I do love how it looks though.
