Why should he change his name? It’s the other guy that sucks.

First thing I did was scroll down to see if someone had made the joke because if it hadn’t been done I was jumping all over it.
The thing about NBC is, they always try to walk it in.
I’m worried this pilot is going to be so bad, after watching we’ll all be disappointedly asking each other :
A. The amount of commenters who are in serious denial about how much boning is going on in the background of Zootopia is hilarious. (C’mon, the Bunnyburrow population sign, the ‘rabbits are pretty good at multiplying’ joke, the ‘naturist club’, the ‘three-humped camel’ joke, Mr. Big’s daughter turning up pregnant in…
The headline could go one step further in accuracy and say “anti-choice.”
So I was on here a little earlier and noticed this headline referring to “pro-life” comics; when I came back a little later it had changed to “anti-abortion”. And you know what? I applaud the change. Let’s stop calling these people pro-life just because that’s what they want to be called, when so often they do nothing…
HOLY SHIT! This explains Ben Carson!
How does a black neurosurgeon with widespread acclaim end up talking like a child? Because he is in the Sunken Place! Hell, I’m wondering if they put Freddy Trump into Carson! Someone file a FOIA request!
I believe you are expressing what is known as “white fragility”.
Ahem, it stars Lizzy Caplan, NOT Kaitlin Olson.
Her song about feeling relieved to get a new diagnosis hit so close to home for me. I went through similar anguish, except I WAS trying to get help, actively, and still experiencing symptoms that caused me to harm myself and others. Getting a proper diagnosis, and with it a proper course of treatment, was incredibly…
That song absolutely nailed the euphoria and relief of having a new diagnosis. I am always so amazed at this show’s ability to accurately convey such real and complicated emotions and experiences that aren’t often portrayed on screen.
Let’s all keep an eye on Emily Bett Rickards just in case.
It saddened me to see so many people commenting in the other story that they don’t believe Takei’s accuser, even when they believe accusers in other cases.
Your write-up is excellent. I appreciate it very much.
Every time one of these comes up, I think “OKAY...now were they harassing you?? Or were they flirting? Just because the power structure was different doesn’t mean...OH FUCK ME. He showed you his penis??? He drugged you and groped you while you were unconscious??”
The moment in this episode that sticks with me most is Lena’s drunken, self-pitying rant to Kara.
This is posted late so not sure if others will see but I think in addition to not being believed if black; there is also the societal belief that women who don’t conform to society’s expectations of beauty SHOULD BE grateful when some man finds them sexy and comments on it in public.
This ep was so painful to watch precisely because I’ve experienced many of the things Rebecca is going through thanks to my BPD. I know EXACTLY the place where her actions come from, minus the hypersexuality, since I’m on the Ace spectrum. I mean... it was DIFFICULT to watch ALL of it. The cringe-inducing bridge…
This was... EXTREMELY hard to watch? For over a season I’ve been wondering if they would ever go the dark route the story was clearly taking the show, but enjoying the fun of it nonetheless... Tonight, I finally got what I’ve been asking for over a year and it was perfect if I’m talking about the TV Show Crazy…
