Yeah. LOVED this game as a kid. Never once beat it. Those damn sandworms were usually game over or left you too used up to survive much further. Kinda hope they have a save system or something on this one so I can finally beat the game.

Even as a kid I struggled, I remember keeping the codes when I levelled up, those sandworms were brutal like halfway through. I did finish it in the end but it was super stressful!

Will definitely be getting this, so I can have my ass kicked all over again :)

In 2020, mobile games revenue in the U.S. reached a record 10.73 billion U.S. dollars, and thanks to a wave of technological advances, digital innovation, and nationwide lockdowns amidst the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the number of U.S. mobile video game users is now higher than ever.

It’s a Japanese thing. Mobile gaming is really popular in Japan. I believe mobile “gaming” is also still relevant everywhere else too, not just to the extent as Japan.

I use Kalas as a screen name too! In fact I have bluetooth capable sunglasses and Kalas was the first device name that popped into my head for it. Enjoy Origins. If you haven’t played it before, I hope you have a blast and enjoy some of the twists on the original gameplay especially in the battle system. I think the

Baten Kaitos (and, by extension, Baten Kaitos Origins). While the first BK game had atrocious voice acting - dreadful delivery and subpar production - it is still one of my very favorite games, from the amazing art style and beautiful pre-rendered backgrounds to Motoi Sakuraba’s genius soundtrack, and the super fun

Yo, MegaBlastoise here. Main account got banned here because a certain Kotaku writer (not Zack) is pretty thin-skinned.

Every time I watch that, I imagine Kenny Blankenship and Vic Romano commenting over it.

Same, that was where I was going. I saw the headline and went to Twitter to verify because this addition is both the most ludicrous thing I’ve ever seen and also the most logical addition they’ve ever made in equal measure.

I don’t understand the need to play the “who has it worse” game. Can’t we just acknowledge that its a shitty time for a lot of people for reasons that are sometimes similar and sometimes different?

It should be noted that if you already have devices enabled from the “Device Controls” step, you won’t see the cat options at all. You have to click the More Options icon, select Edit Controls, then remove all devices from that list. Once you hit save, you see the ability to add the cat options.

The earliest game I remember being truly disappointed by as a child was Batman Forever on the SNES. For context, my parents didn’t have a lot of money so we often got bargain bin games, many of which I played repeatedly and loved through sheer exposure (I beat Tazmania and Road Runner’s Death Valley Rally, both of

I am a developer (not game though). I think for this game at least individual performances you could theoretically have a “straight line” path of least resistance time and then add a margin of error on it. This could help identify individuals who finishes at or below that optimal time. Then you can query if that same

I mean, yes, but then the hackers would just set themselves to do a fraction of a second under the “best possible time” and continue to cheat anyway and avoid the system. Imagine having to get a near perfect time every single game just to have a chance.

I just want to thank you for playing through one of my very favorite RPGs of all time. The world of Golden Sun is magical and the soundtrack is incredible. But yeah it is kind of easy to get lost and stumped about where to go once you get the boat. And the dialogue is really bloated. But it’s such a fun game and it

As a recent discoverer of the Dresden files, I like “vampire & thrall”.

I slept in until 3:30 yesterday despite being on the clock. That about sums up how busy I’ve been this week.
