I mixed this up with Small Soldiers and was very confused for a minute.
This guy is amazing. I watched another one of his videos where he solved a sudoku involving a magic square, diagonal lines, and only 2 numbers on the board to start. Genuinely thrilling and incredibly skilled - not to mention, the skill involved to craft those kinds of puzzles (which is done by hand)
The more restrictions, the more tells, making the puzzle far easier the more numbers you start out with. This is why I believe that the puzzle HAD to start with so few numbers for it to actually be challenging. I almost want to do the combinatorics to see how many valid (transformation invariant) completed boards…
I’ve been watching these guys’ stuff daily for the past few weeks now and I love it. I can’t stop playing Star Battles which I didn’t even know about before them.
I stumbled across this channel about a month ago and since then it has become an unexpectedly welcome and relaxing addition to my day.
Cracking the Cryptic is a terrific channel! I only found them a couple weeks ago, and I think they’ve gained like 50k subscribers in just that short a time. I love when Simon uses the phrase “Now we’re cooking with gas.” I dont know why, but watching him solve puzzles makes me feel smart.
That trilogy is good! I like how you keep thinking the main character is going to transform into some kind of shitkicking hero at like 20 different points in the story and if just never really happens. He continues to inconsistently bumble his way through everything right to the end! At least, that’s how I remember…
ohai it me
Going to be starting the Mass Effect trilogy on PC, ultrawide and high res texture mods all set up!
Remove those words from your filthy, filthy mouth, you monster.
Jason the World-Eater
Guess Jason decided to grab 2020 by the balls and go from “Jason the Delayer” to “Jason the Destroyer”. Wonder what he’ll cancel next?
If you played Project X Zone 2, Ogami is the main protagonist of Sakura Wars 1-4. Sakura was the leading female character in Sakura Wars 1-2, which focuses on the Japan division. Erica was the leading female character in Sakura Wars 3, which focuses on the French division. Sakura Wars 4 actually combined both French…
If I remember rightly, 1 and 2 had the same characters and was set in Japan. 3 had new characters and was set in Paris. 4 was a team up of the two teams I think.. The rest I’m really fussy on.
Every game has brand new characters. Occasionally characters/events from previous games will be mentioned/show up, but the games are all standalone.
I haven’t played the games my self, but I’ve seen a lot of the stuff from the sidelines. I think some characters show up repeatedly, but several of the games take place in other countries such as France or the USA. Those have new characters, though I think sometimes they carry someone over as a bridge of sorts.
My brother passed away a few years ago now with little to his name. One day I was going through my advance games and found out that my brother was the last one to play my firered leaving me his mains. It took a few years to get the games to points where I could transfer but today his blastoise and Powers!! (he always…
If we’re talking GameCube games, Baten Kaitos and Baten Kaitos Origins could use more attention.
And because it seems to come up every time a post about glitched speedrunning is made:
