The PS4 UI is terrible if you use the console for anything other than playing the disc you pop in the drive.

Those UIs aren’t great unless they allow you divide things into folders/sections. Otherwise they start to get very clunky when you have a bunch of games and apps. I like the ability to make a make a pins/favorites section on the XBox.  I put all my heavily used apps and games in a section I just call “pins”.

I also love how Microsoft is always trying new things with their user interface. Some iterations work better than others, but it honestly is better than Sony’s boring interface. And don’t get me started on the Nintendo “Homebrew has better customization” Switch

Maybe it’s just because I’m part of the previous program, but hasn’t your storage library always been divided into games and apps?

Neutral:

Gamepass is SO good it feels like stealing. Gears 5, Outer Worlds, Outer Wilds, Crackdown 3, and 100+ other games and new releases and Xbox live for the price of 3 retail games a year is a no brainer.

I don’t get the simultaneous pro-dealer and anti-dealer sentiments on this site. Clearly, Jalopnik is pro-dealer when it involves Tesla, but anti-dealer in all other regards.

Pretty sure you can lay it on its side. Would that still not be ideal for the setup?

psst, they can do both

This is why they’ve been buying up studios for the past few years. They know the secret sauce is games, not hardware gimmicks. Look how fast they turned around from the Xbox One (remember all the TV integration and Kinect bullshit?)

It’s almost as if the mentality of greater profits over better products and services is inherently self-destructive...but, nah. Screw that noise. Let’s make more money!

So, who wants to take guesses on how terrible Diablo 4 will turn out?

How the hell can Blizzard go down the tubes so quic....
