Ok, he may not have actually felt guilty about his actions but I'm just talking in terms of him being aware he did something wrong and scrambling to try to do some sort of damage control.

I'm picturing it being something like, "I know what you did last summer! LOL" in reference to him picking his nose in traffic, but his guilty conscience went into overdrive and well, here we are.

Same here! I'm was already kind of scared to shower while alone in the house before I even read that story, so, now my attitude is basically, "Oh well, looks like I'm gonna be kind of stank today."

Sadly, I just tried searching on Amazon and iBooks for some electronic copies of Christopher Pike books and there isn't much of a selection as far as these older ones. I was going to re-read a few of them. I know I have some packed away at my childhood home along with some RL Stine and others but I didn't want to wait

A funny story about Monster, I actually re-read it a few years ago and if you remember, the characters in the book got these really strong cravings and urges for red meat (in some cases raw). Well, over the course of the two or three days that I spent reading it, I suddenly developed cravings for burgers and steaks.

Yeah! I just mentioned this a few minutes ago on another thread. I was surprised I hadn't seen it mentioned yet. One of my favorites for sure.

This one, YES. Also, does anyone remember "Road to Nowhere" by Pike? I can only recall a few vague plot details but I know that it was one of my favorites besides "Remember Me".

"My own father, who loves speaking in movie tag lines, once told my aunt who had just finished chemo to 'die another day' as he was pulling out of her driveway"

I'm glad I'm not alone! It's interesting, I just always assumed this stuff took a little while and needed to be finished before it aired.

Agreed. I've been enjoying the season so far, but tonight was when things started moving a little faster and getting very interesting. This was also one of the first episodes since the introduction of Twisty that I did a lot of cringing and exclaimed, "I can't! I can't!" to myself.

I feel like this is a really dumb question, but I'm going to ask anyway. Are they still filming the current season? I always thought shows like this were filmed and edited and then aired. I don't understand how someone can be written in when we're already almost halfway through the season. Or am I just reading this

HAHA. No worries. I thought I had read them all but when I saw a very brief description of that one on the last Jezebel article about these books I realized I hadn't and thought I might try to read it one day. It's likely that I'll never get around to it or by the time I do I'll forget all about what you said anyway.

Goodness gracious! SPOILER ALERT!

YYYAAASSS. Oddly enough, these were one of the few books set way back in time that I ever really liked. Even to this day I still pretty much avoid books that aren't set in more modern times.

I see, I see. Sorry about that. I did the same thing I can't stand other people to do and reacted to your post without really looking at the context of the entire conversation. : )

Uh, what? I don't use kindle but I mostly read ebooks on my phone or tablet. It has nothing to do with being seen with a particular book and everything to do with not having the room to store hundreds of books and wanting to be able to have access to many books wherever I go.

I don't like the trend in cover flipping at all, and since I buy a lot of ebooks to read on my phone or tablet, I end up buying the ebook with one cover and having a new one updated automatically when it's changed. I especially don't like when a book cover gets switched the the Hollywood movie version. The one that

No worries. I thought maybe that was the case but it's hard to say these days. There are a lot of people with reading comprehension issues around here.

Oh, nice! I'll check it out, thanks!

I don't understand how your question relates to what I said at all? I did not say that it wasn't bad enough. I think the entire situation is disgusting. But my post was in direct response to someone asking whether it was obvious who the victim was in this situation based upon the math/age. I answered that question.
